We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.
Judy & Steve Lukacs

The tents, sleeping swags and locations to camp were great. I had the best night sleeps!
Jen, Joe & Jack Previtera

The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.
Jenny McKenzie-Murray

Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm.
Denis & Shirley Ranger

Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable.
Jos Benner

To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.
Rebecca Lingam

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.
Meryl & Glenn Jackson

The camping experience was great fun and campfires at night added to the experience.
Steve & Connie Calderwood
Dear All
Thanks for your happy company on what was a truly wonderful trip for John and I. That country, those walks, that food, that evening fire, our fabulous tour leaders – it couldn’t have been better. Here’s our song. What great fun. I thought we did a pretty good job considering we hadn’t practiced, and the “boys” were outstanding with their sassy arm movements! Well done for the choreography Maryanne.

Simone. I cannot thank you enough for an amazing tour and experiences in the Kimberleys. Loved every walk, the Gibb River Road, Bungle Bungles and our can tour leaders Mark and Carmel. They were absolutely amazing with everything including walks, rolling swags, food and plenty of it. I could keep going as so much was 100%, I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see our out back. Hope I can do this again sometime!
Thank you
Hi Simone,
I don’t know where to start in explaining how much I loved my whole trip to WA and most of that was all thanks to you and your amazing Adventure Wild tour. Thank you so so much for all that you organised for me which made my whole trip so special and so memorable. Thank you so much for contacting all the suppliers to get me on all the optional tours. I really enjoyed them all so much and I think I have almost seen all of the Kimberley now. I have been to 41 countries and who knew that part of my own country was going to become one of my favourites! There really is nowhere else like WA, it is so beautiful.
To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything. Mark and Carmel were amazing and took such good care of us every step of the way. They made it all look so easy, but of course it was a lot of hard work on their part on making our Adventure Wild so special, and I learnt so many new things, like rolling a swag! And I was very lucky to have a great group of people to travel with which made it even more memorable. Everything was so well organised and set up at all the campsites, and the food was delicious every night. I was hoping to lose some weight but unfortunately I have put on weight! Hehe..
I will be highly recommending a visit to WA with Adventure Wild. It’s certainly a trip you will always remember.
Thank you so much again Simone for everything. I really appreciate it.
I look forward to catching up with you again sometime either in Broome or in Melbourne.
Take care.
Although we only joined the tour in Kununurra, we were amazed at how efficiently it was run. Carmel and Mark did an amazing job – great hosts, knowledgable tour guides and magnificent cooks! The tour and its itinerary is one I would certainly recommend to anyone contemplating seeing this region of Australia. Thank you!
Hi Simone
I had a great time. Love Carmel & Mark, they were super troupers. Always there for you and with a smile. Lovely fellow travellers. The food was amazing and plenty of it.
And off course you too. Thank you for being so accommodating. Taking care of everything for me. 😉
Still a few days left in Broome. Leave on Thursday for Exmouth. Then on tour for Karijini NP.
Tonight meeting up with some of the group to watch the sunset at Cable Beach.
Thank you for everything.
Hi Simone and Karl,
Just a quick note to say how much Phil and I enjoyed our 12 day trip. The whole event was spectacular, from driving the dirt roads, seeing the magnificent country side and enjoying the company of our fellow travellers and our wonderful tour guides Liz and Phil.
Can’t say enough good things about Liz and Phil. Could not have had better guides. They were extremely knowledgeable, happy, helpful and great fun to be around. There was so much to do and see. Loved Phil giving a tune on the didgeridoo in the Cathedral Gorge. Had lots of laughs and stories around the camp fire.
Beautiful part of the world. I would be more than happy to recommend the tour to anyone and if ever I return to Broome (which I would love to do) I would go on another tour with Liz and Phil.
Thanks again for a wonderful time
Regards two very happy campers
Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable. Gools and Thomo are amazing cooks and gave us an extensive information and stories about the Kimberleys, the early settlers and aboriginal culture. Our optional extra trips were well worthwhile.
Dear Simone and Karl,
Shirley and I have just returned from your 12 day Kimberly Adventurer tour, 5th – 16th June 2019. We had been keenly anticipating this trip, since we met you at an Adelaide Travel Expo in February 2018 and our expectations were met in every way.
Our driver/guides Cheryl and Wayne, aka “Gools and Thommo” are a credit to themselves, your company and the region, never phased, unbelievably efficient, excellent cooking from “Gools” for all meals, never two the same, great commentary from “Thommo”, plus joint banter kept us involved for the whole trip. Clear explanations every day were great.
Your vehicle set up has obviously had a lot of thought put into it and we travelled in comfort and practicality, including the Gibb River Road and into the Bungles, on some horrific roads.
Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm, we have to admit we had some doubt about your advice for warm clothing, but thank goodness you warned us.
The route, camps, scenery, our wonderfully rugged country, the hills, the rocks, trees, the lot, who could possibly imagine to find such unimaginable beauty in the Gorges and water holes of such a dry rugged country environment.
I have not seen such efficiency and effectiveness outside of a military service environment, delivered in such a pleasant manner; thank you for the opportunity to enjoy a world class area, with world class service, in the company of like-minded and lovely people, we would happily recommend it to people who want to experience “The Kimberley” without the bells, whistles and associated expense.
All the very best for the future.
Rowena and I thoroughly enjoyed the Kimberley experience with Liz and Phil. They are remarkable people who provided an excellent tour with great insights into the history, geography and indigenous aspects of the area. Big shout out to them.
We were also highly impressed with both yours and Karl’s responses to all our queries and your outstanding assistance in booking our horizontal falls tour. You may recall we left our decision to travel in the Kimberley until quite late. I think it took you less than 10 minutes to respond to my initial query email. Wish more businesses could be like that!
Your enthusiasm for the Kimberley is obvious and your approach to running the operation is first class. I have been recommending you very positively to everyone who enquires about our adventure.
All the best,
We had a fantastic choppper flight & our time with Thommo & Gooles was wonderful. We really enjoyed our four days. Joining the tour part way through should have been hard but we seemed to just slip right in. You are very lucky to have Thommo & Gooles as your guides. Their attention to detail & flow of everything was exceptional & we have found your company to be very professional.
