We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.
Judy & Steve Lukacs

The tents, sleeping swags and locations to camp were great. I had the best night sleeps!
Jen, Joe & Jack Previtera

The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.
Jenny McKenzie-Murray

Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm.
Denis & Shirley Ranger

Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable.
Jos Benner

To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.
Rebecca Lingam

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.
Meryl & Glenn Jackson

The camping experience was great fun and campfires at night added to the experience.

Hi Simone,
We would just like to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our Gibb River Road tour. Despite the adversity of 3 roads being closed due to inclement weather, Gools and Thommo did a fantastic job in ensuring that we got to see everything on the itinerary and more! Their dedication to their work and determination to give us the best possible holiday was outstanding. We cannot praise them enough. Each evening we had a gourmet meal from a different country and the food was healthy and plentiful.
Their tolerance and patience was excellent. The constant communication between them and yourself was truly professional.
We had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend your company in the future. Thank you so much!
Kind Regards,

Dear Simone,
Ian & I would like to wish you and the staff a very happy Christmas and every good wish for a another successful year in 2016.
We still have vivid memories of our amazing trip through the Kimberley with Thommo and Gools. The organisation, food & variety of wonderful experiences far exceeded our expectations and we just want to say how glad we were that we chose to travel with Adventure Wild.
Thank you and best wishes for the coming years.

Dear Simone.
Lesley and I had a wonderful time on our tour with Thommo and Gools who were both fantastic guides, very knowledgeable and able to understand the needs of individual group members but also Gools is such a great lady who’s personality compliments Thommo’s organization so well.
Your support and organization is also first class which although is not seen by many was very evident to me in so many different ways.
Simone I am writing to ask for more of your brochures to pass onto people as we are recommending your tour to all that we meet and have run out of the ones you sent me.
I understand why you only have the one tour with it’s winning formulae and the fixed camps which are first class make it more rewarding for your travellers but at the same time I would just love to experience another tour with you and obviously the lowest cost of sales for you are to repeat customers rather than the cost of advertising to a new audience each year.
I do ask you to consider a second Kimberley tour using some of the existing camps where they can be used for day trips to new destinations but adding some new sites where applicable which would allow repeat customers to return but also reduce the infrastructure costs for you.
I think it is loss to not tour with you in the future
I wish you well for 2016 and hope we can meet again.
Kind regards

As I was putting together my photo book of the Kimberley trip I did back in August, the memories of just what a great trip it was came flooding back. Gools and Thommo were outstanding hosts and made it all so enjoyable. From the fantastic meals and cooking to Thommo’s unique way of telling you about the Kimberley’s through his stories, to the wonderful sights and scenery, it made every minute of the trip memorable.
I could not believe the efforts and enthusiasm Gools and Thommo brought to the trip. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and if there was an opportunity to squeeze a bit more in then they did.
Thanks for the opportunity to see the Kimberley’s in style especially when you have limited time.

I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that Adey and Mark couldn’t have been more kind and helpful (despite my shameless, many special requests). It was a truly wonderful tour and I want you to know how much I appreciate the care you and your employees took to give us the best possible time.

We had been to Broome about 6 years before.. we drove.. ourselves.. nearly insane.. we went via Marble Bar and back down the coast but never saw any of the magnificent country of the Kimberly. We were restricted where we could go with our rickety caravan and although it did hold together surprisingly well over the corrugations, it was frankly a pain in the backside and not much of a break from the cooking and driving side of life and we didn’t see much other than the road straight ahead.
We had never done an organised trip before and I was not sure how we would go with someone else doing all the organising.. farmers tend to be very self sufficient and do everything themselves… I am converted.. it was bliss. The scenery was to die for, the organization perfect, the balance between relaxing and ‘adventuring’ was just right for our age group and the company wonderful. The knowledge of Gools and Thommo was par excellence, be it birds, plants or local culture, as were Thommo’s gentle stories that made us think about history and cultural differences.
So not only did we see and hear.. we also thought and started to understand a bit more about what makes Australia what it is.
So back home to the animals and routine and meetings.. but I am pretty good about relaxing and going to bed early and getting up early.. and appreciating the sunrises and sunsets and the glass of wine.. ahhhh.
Thank you Adventure Wild.

1 week since returning from the awesome Kimberley and I can’t stop telling everyone about such a perfect experience.
From initial contact on planning this trip and throughout the 12 days away, I have never before dealt with a more professional organisation.
Thommo and Gools were exceptional hosts and guides with their knowledge and enthusiasm of the entire Kimberly region. The food was amazing. (I think I would do another trip with them just to again experience such great meals. Reality food shows have nothing on what they can produce and that is all while camping.)
The Gibb River is a trip that I had planned to do on my own. I am so glad now that I went with people that know the area and places of interest – and more, and have all the right equipment to tackle such a rugged area. I’m sure so many people miss ‘those special attractions’.
Thanks again to Simone, Rory, Karl, Thommo, Gools and all who made this trip so great, even the mottley bunch we travelled with. (We did all right).

Wow what a wonderful trip we did with Adey & Corf!
The Kimberley has always been an awesome place – but to have the company of a great bunch of people to experience the Gibb River Road with has made it a really special 12 days. We were completely spoilt – the attention to detail in which Adey and Corf plied their craft was a credit to them. The whole trip was brilliant, from the comfort to the awesome scenery and sunsets, the night sky the delicious food and the campfire yarns. I still can’t get the grin off my face.

We have just returned home, after adding Kakadu onto our itinerary after our 12 day camping safari. We had a wonderful time with our guides, Thommo and Gools in the Kimberley. They were professional, organised, enthusiastic and fun! I would gladly recommend them to anyone!!
