We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.
Judy & Steve Lukacs
The tents, sleeping swags and locations to camp were great. I had the best night sleeps!
Jen, Joe & Jack Previtera
The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.
Jenny McKenzie-Murray
Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm.
Denis & Shirley Ranger
Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable.
Jos Benner
To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.
Rebecca Lingam
The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.
Meryl & Glenn Jackson
The camping experience was great fun and campfires at night added to the experience.
Steve & Connie Calderwood
Just came back from this “otherwordly” Kimberley journey with Adventure Wild! It was an outstanding experience in stunning nature, which went deep into my heart! Our guides Sarah and Peter were indeed wonderful, so present, skillful, patient and true magicians in the kitchen!! We have seen beauty over beauty, slept in comfortable and clean swags and sleeping bags. The trip was well organized from A to Z! 100% worth every penny. Thank you Simone, thank you Sarah and Peter, thank you wonderful people in the group!

Hello Simone,
I now understand how busy you are. From the start I knew you were efficient & a perfectionist🫶. It was lovely of you to wave us goodbye on our recent adventure with Sarah & Peter.
I will never forget my experiences Camping hiking swimming bus food & our good vibes in our group.
100% Sarah & Peter & Adventure Wild! 🤩
Thank You very much & good luck to you & Family in the future.
Always,
A huge thank you Simone and Karl for all your effort to make your business outstanding. Congratulations. From our first contact with you, we were confident we chose the best tour operator.
The tour exceeded all our expectations. Sarah and Peter were so competent, wise and patient with everyone and went above and beyond to help us get the most out of this tour. The humour, kindness, culinary skills were appreciated. They are an inspiring couple.
May you all keep travelling and living your dreams so you can keep inspiring your guests to live their dreams! We are sincerely grateful for a memorable tour and rate it an 11 out of 10. 🙏
Dear Simone,
It is up to me to say ‘thank you’ for this wonderful experience! As a young Belgian woman, I feel privileged to be able to undertake this tour. Without organizations like yours, it would be impossible for me to discover this beautiful part of Australia. After all, I don’t have the knowledge, the equipment, or the company to do this on my own.
In addition to the breathtaking nature, the real highlight was the guides Wendy & Magnus! I have traveled in groups with guides before, but they couldn’t hold a candle to W & M. They absolutely go the extra mile for their guests, nothing is too much for them, and they think of every little detail. Of course, they also have a vast knowledge of the region, plants, and animals, which they convey in a very pleasant way. Wendy’s cooking skills are amazing, especially when you consider the limited possibilities of an outdoor kitchen. For them alone, I would recommend this trip to anyone! I was a little uneasy beforehand, because there are so many factors that are unknown to me (language, spiders, snakes, etc.), but M&W quickly put me at ease. Despite the age difference and completely different backgrounds, I quickly felt comfortable in the group.
Thanks again for the fantastic trip! It was exactly the escape from the world that I needed at this point in my life. Thank you!
Kind regards,
Hi Simone,
Many thanks for your slick organisation of a great adventure in the Kimberley. You were so helpful with all our queries – being able to talk on the phone was a bonus, and it was lovely to meet you when you picked us up at the start. Our friends did this trip 2 years ago and heartily recommended it. We caught up with them this morning and had fun comparing notes. Keep up the good work!
This extraordinary trip is beyond all imagination and will be forever remembered, as it’s also our way to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary this year. The Broome-to-Broome itinerary appeals to us when we arrange for flights from Sydney. Simone, the managing director, impressed me with her time management and kind help to answer many questions between me and Peter, when we checked out on detailed information in Adventure Wild website, such as places of visits in the itinerary and recommended optional tours. Almost everything one can think of is already written down somewhere in Adventure Wild website, often with photos too, but we still need a pointer. During this communication stage, I soon felt that Adventure Wild must be a very successful tour operator in the Kimberley. Peter and I were finally in Broome, waiting outside our accommodation on the 16 July 6:15am, to be picked up by Adventure Wild’s 4WD specially equipped truck with trailer, to join an epic camping tour in the Kimberley, a very famous destination in the Australian outback.
A camping routine is always unusual, especially for urban people like us, and our capable guides, Peter and Sarah, reminded us on the first day that we’re all in a team. Their remarkable way of organization made us pay attention to the importance of carrying out duties and planning ahead as a team, so that our days would be rewarded with full enjoyment of the natural beauty in the Kimberley region and holiday fun in an outback setting. During our journey, we received excellent meal services everyday with beautifully cooked healthy meals, served with crockery and cutlery and clean table set up, limitless hot drinks, fruit and snacks during road breaks, and very clean tents for resting at night in a swag that came with a light weight yet warm sleeping bag, pillow and clean linen for our private use. Our daily needs were catered for with sincerest and utmost care.
As we’re all looking for adventures, this safari tour has met our expectations completely. Peter and Sarah made sure that there would be an authentic experience for us all. We swam across river crossings, scrambled over big boulders, followed trails without signposts, climbed up steel ladders, as if nothing was impossible. For some in the team who had enough of these physical challenges, they’re encouraged to stop early during our hike and wait in peace in suitable locations for others’ return. The team was in absolute harmony and Peter had an everyday joke to cheer us, while Sarah had many laughing moments during their busy schedules. We’re friends in actions.
For camping in the outback, urban travelers do need to prepare for major adjustments, because there’ll be inconveniences in some campsites where lighting is limited, hot water for kitchen use is insufficient, facilities for toilet and shower aren’t adequately equipped, mobile signals are inexistent and losing direction in getting around in the dark is probable. Despite a real need to change our habits during the tour, I’d like to praise Adventure Wild for setting high standards in operating camping tours into the outback, with exceptional planning and problem-solving in making campsites highly functional. Peter and Sarah have impressed us with their marvelous organization skills, hospitality, personal warmth, caring attitude and inner joy in their hard work as safari tour guides.
Congratulations to you all in achieving the objective to take people to the Kimberley for a full experience of its unique vastness and spectacular landscapes that are well-known to travelers from Australia and abroad.

Adventure Wild Testimonial (Tour 16-27 July 2025)
Absolutely loved our 12 day tour of the Kimberley with Adventure Wild.
From the very first enquiry, both Simone and Karl were extremely helpful and fabulous with their communication about the tour.
We are on a lap of Oz with our car and caravan, and desperate to see the Kimberley and do the Gibb River Road, but not being experienced 4WDrivers, we were nervous about doing it ourselves.
So glad we jumped on a tour, and even more pleased that we chose Adventure Wild to do it with. A family run business where nothing was too much trouble, and their approach was professional, yet very personalised.
Upon arriving back from the tour, it’s actually hard to put into words what an amazing, life changing experience it was. The scenery and landscape was spectacular, but our incredible guides, Peter and Sarah set the tone for what was the most cohesive, supportive tour group. A diverse group of people that were amazing tour buddies, and we all bonded over our shared experiences and challenges along the way. The frivolity and laughter around the campfire was something we will remember for a long time.
The meals that Pete & Sarah prepared were all so delicious and our vehicle / setup was top notch.
Thank you Adventure Wild and especially to Pete, Sarah and our special tour group for making this trip an experience of a lifetime.
Highly highly recommend to anyone who wants to see this unique part of Australia in the most hassle free way.
Thank you Simone for a great trip. I enjoyed myself and it was certainly very well organised!
Magnus and Wendy were outstanding as guides in their professionalism, commitment to detail and genuine interest in all guests combined with a great love of touring the wild beautiful places of the Kimberley. I also appreciated Wendy’s ongoing commitment to creating lovely vegetarian meals for myself each day.
Many thanks again
