An Extraordinary Tour of the Kimberley
Kimberley with Adventure Wild – 12 days.
Right from the very beginning Adventure Wild was a winner. Simone’s administration, attention to detail, clear explanations and outstanding customer service was of the highest level.
Then came the tour!
Liz and Phil were our travel guides. They were awesome; both keen to share their stories and experiences, and their driving skills were second to none.
We have just returned from the Kimberley tour and Liz and Phil are an incredible couple – exceptional and delightful in every way. Every day they worked very hard to make sure everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed. They were respectful, friendly, kind, polite, efficient and professional. Both shared their specialised experiences and masterful guiding. Always mindful of safety and comfort for all. Both were very organised and the whole tour went smoothly. All meals were delicious and nutritious.
All in all a phenomenal and exemplary tour.

I had a wonderful time throughout the whole trip : everything was perfect and the organization top notch, thanks to our wonderful guides Kaz & Jimmy! Beautiful landscapes, great hikes, amazing food and a bunch of diverse yet wonderful fellow travelers to share the trip and the camps with.
An amazing way to see this wonderful remote and wild part of the world very safely, I would recommend Adventure Wild to anyone willing to live wonderful experiences with great people!

Completed this trip in June and was “blown away”
The entire process from booking to touring was a fabulous example of true customer service.
I travelled solo, but within an hour of getting into the truck, this was not an issue as so many wonderful souls were on board for the fabulous experience.
Our guides Kaz and Jamie were amazing. So welcoming, knowledgeable and how Kaz created such wonderful meals every day remains beyond me. Jamie was as solid as a rock and his driving skills were never challenged, not even by the many, many rivers we traversed with ease. Our swag rolling skills improved by the end of the trip, under his watchful eye.
All in all a wonderful trip and one that has to be experienced to be believed.

Exploring the Kimberley region with someone else doing the driving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What an amazing way to explore some of the most stunning parts of Oz!!
With Sarah and Peter as our guides/cooks/drivers/joke tellers/mechanics and more, I knew from day one I was in for a great trip.
16 of us headed out of Broome to spend 11 nights in swags in tents. Plenty of nights around a fire to gaze at the stars. The tents were spacious- able to stand up in and without the annoying centre pole, swags were comfy and the art of swag rolling each morning was easier done in pairs.
Several hikes of various levels of difficulty into various gorges were on the programme. Most involved an optional swim in refreshing waters (with no sign of a croc). Other optional excursions were on offer to explore more of the Kimberley region- helicopter flights and boat cruises.
Having someone else caring for (and driving) the vehicle and trailer was the best way to explore the legendary Gibb River Road and Purnululu region. Just sit back and enjoy the corrugations.😳
From initial enquiries to dropping us off at the end of my trip, every detail was taken care of. The trailer and truck were sturdy and well designed to carry every possible thing we could need from wine glasses to laundry washing sheets and withstand the roughest of roads.
Certainly the best way to explore this part of Australia.

Rugged Terrain Made Easy – An incredible 12-day Kimberley Adventure
I had an amazing 12-day tour in the Kimberley with Adventure Wild. As a hiker and a solo traveller, I was a bit sceptical about taking an organized tour. But this was the only way I could explore such rugged terrain without having to worry about the logistics.
The tour was very well organized, and everything was clearly communicated. I had a great time with like-minded people. Our tour guides, Kaz and Jimmy, were amazing—they were caring, thoughtful, and made everything possible. We enjoyed amazing food by the fire, sharing stories under the stars.
The Kimberley is a very special place, quite different from the rest of Australia, especially coming from Melbourne. The Bungle Bungles was probably my highlight. I loved swimming in the gorges and hiking on the red dirt. I wish I could have done more hiking, but time was limited and everyone’s physical abilities were not equal, which is understandable.
I felt that being a family business they were so much more accommodating than the big companies. We also had Karl with us, who shared his local knowledge/ experience. Every night, Kaz would cook up a five-star meal, and Jimmy impressed us with his damper and Billy tea. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience! Five stars !

From the first time I started researching your website, through booking, liaison, starting the tour in Broome to being safely delivered ‘home’, i enjoyed an exceptional experience and a great adventure.
The organisation, information and execution were exceptional. And the packing list was perfect!
Kaz and Jimmy were wonderful guides, particularly given this was their first season with you. They went above and beyond to ensure we experienced the very best of the Kimberley, which provided the group with a wonderful journey and fabulous memories, it really was an adventure. Gorges, rock pools, 111 ‘crossings’ perfectly navigated, camp fires and early starts, every aspect was enjoyed. They shared favourite locations with us and always cooked up a storm, always friendly, organised and professional. And then there were the daily ‘sunset drinks’ enjoyed at stunning spots around the Kimberley.
Thank you again, it truly was a wonderful adventure.

Fabulous adventure
This tour is fabulous. We have wanted to do the Gibb River Road, but didn’t have the confidence to tackle it on our own. By doing it this way, we utilised every moment of the day. Our fabulous guides Pete & Sarah knowing exactly where to go and what to see! With their guidance our group worked together setting up & packing up our campsites. The food they prepared and cooked was both delicious and plentiful. The swags were more comfortable than we expected. They must’ve been with plenty of snoring after busy days! 🤣 The information provided beforehand by Simone was very thorough & useful. Read & follow the instructions, and you are set to have an absolutely awesome time! The Kimberley & particularly the Gibb is rugged outback country that cannot be experienced properly without feeling the dirt & seeing the stars. We cannot thank Pete & Sarah enough for making this trip what it was. We wish them every happiness in their future.
