We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.

Back yesterday after 12 days under the watchful eyes of Peter and Sarah. What a wonderful pair – wit, knowledge, dedication and the ability to bond our group together as a family.
I had no idea the trip would be as rewarding as it was. The ever changing scenery, the gorges, waterfalls and rocky walks were so rewarding to become part of, on our journey. The never ending army of trees followed us on top of hills and rocky ledges and gorges and was something that will stick in my mind.
Adventure Wild, you offer a super experience and one that i will remember for many years to come. Thankyou thankyou. Xxx

Just concluded ultimate Kimberley tour with Brett and Rowena, our awesome guide couple. Every time we asked to help them in any way, they told us to enjoy the trip and count trees. A true outback adventure and a great way to explore the rugged and remote Kimberley region.
Our guides, Brett and Rowena were a well organised team. They both worked hard to ensure we had a trip of our lifetime. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
We appreciated Rowena’s extensive information about the region and the sites we visited. Brett did a great job getting through the creek crossings and negotiating those corrugated roads.
The early starts enabled us to walk in the cooler parts of the day and enjoy the sites and swimming holes before crowds arrived.
I would thoroughly recommend the optional tours offered as they enhanced our overall experience.

I recently returned from a Kimberley tour with Peter and Sarah on 2nd August 2026. It was the best organized camping tour I have ever been on. Pete and Sarah are knowledgeable in the area and I enjoyed every aspect as a solo traveler. The camp sites were magic and the food was excellent. I loved the fact that every night there was a briefing for the next days events and expectations. Pete and Sarah should be very proud of how they manage the expectations of all guests and represent the company Adventure Wild

We arrived home late lastnight but I had to write to say something I am sure you have heard a thousand times…Phil and Liz are amazing! They are such lovely, passionate, knowledgeable, patient people. Their knowledge of the environment and history, to bird and animal species was so good. Their presentation of all the info was like the first time they had delivered it, but was probably the 100th! Nothing was a bother and they picked up on peoples preferences, of food to who needed help with swags and bags (that was evident straight away!).
And then there were the mishaps. Oh my goodness, they were so professional and caring and Phil had to drive out with people to hospital or back and wait… after driving and hiking. What a team. Thanks for the great experience, we loved it. But Phil ans Liz certainly made it very special.

The trip was excellent, exactly as described by yourself and brochures. The hosts Brett and Rowena was very accommodating and helpful.
Food was plentiful and always changing. I cannot fault it.
We had air conditioning problems. Brett & Rowena spent so long on the roof on the truck in the blazing heat. They really worked hard to fix it.
All in all I enjoyed the trip and wish you well in the future with your business.

We have just returned from a trip in the Kimberley’s with Adventure Wild. This experience is best described as not a holiday but an ADVENTURE. 12 action packed days exploring the Gibb River Road and the best the Kimberley has to offer. From Beautiful gorges, swimming in crystal clear waterfalls to iconic landmarks such as Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge and The Bungle Bungles.
Everything about our trip was extremely well organised from our first enquiry to storing our motorhome safely. All meals were provided with dietary requirements considered and were absolutely delicious. Our tours guides ‘Jimmy & Kas’ went above and beyond to ensure we all had an amazing experience. The small group size meant friendships were easily made. We all have memories to last a life time. We can highly recommend this company if you are thinking about doing the Gibb River Road.
I would like to sincerely thank Simone, Rowena and Brett for my wonderful experience in the beautiful, rugged and remote Kimberley. From the first moment that I contacted Adventure Wild, Simone was ready and able to answer all of my questions and to provide guidance on the 12 day trip and the optional experiences which included light plane flights across the KImberley to the Mitchell Plateau and back to Kununurra, helicopter flights over the Bungle Bungles and to the top of Mitchell Falls and river cruises to see Chamberlain Gorge and the Ord River.
Simone, Brett and Rowena are very friendly and welcoming, attentive to detail and very well organised, ensuring that everything went seamlessly from our initial pickup to delivery to our accommodation on the last day. On every day of the trip we got to learn so much about the Kimberley, its history, geology, plants and animal life, thanks to Rowena’s informative commentary.
Brett’s expert driving made it easy for us to explore the rugged Gibb River Road and they worked beautifully as a team to handle anything that came up, to provide for the individual needs, interests and skill levels of each member of the group and to provide us with fresh, healthy and delicious meals every day.
The campsites were in great locations and were very comfortable with good tents, warm and comfortable swags that we became very efficient at rolling out and packing up, learning new skills along the way. The scenery was amazing, experienced during beautiful walks, often to waterfalls with gorgeous swimming holes, and in the case of the Zebedee Hot Springs, to a series of crystal clear, warm pools that we had all to ourselves in the early morning. Our evenings often spent watching the sunset colours on towering cliffs while enjoying nibbles and drinks together, and after a delicious dinner, sitting around the campfire under the stars, enjoying the good company of new friends and reminiscing over the day’s experiences.
I am happily recommending Adventure Wild to family and friends as a great way to explore the beautiful Kimberley region.

We have just completed a wonderful 12 day Kimberley tour led by Kaz and Jimmy. Right from the day of our booking the tour was well organised, our questions answered promptly, packing lists and information distributed in good time along with the very useful soft bags. Kaz and Jimmy provided great information about the the history, wildlife and landscape.
The food was great, fresh and delicious, we were happy to be included in the washing up roster and would have like to do more but Kaz and Jimmy had the organisation down to a fine art so we enjoyed a happy hour each day while they prepared dinner.
The activities involved early starts so we could walk in the cooler parts of the day and enjoy the destinations without crowds. The walks were all really beautiful and interesting and we had great swims in the gorges under waterfalls.
Under the guidance of Kaz and Jimmy our group bonded effortlessly.
The whole tour was a true outback adventure.

What a delightful couple!
Their passion for the Kimberley was infectious. They greeted us warmly on day 1 and were the perfect hosts across the 12 days.
The meals were delicious; scenery spectacular and Pete’s jokes capped off a fantastic trip.
We have returned home on a high and a renewed love of the Kimberley region. We will surely recommend your company to family and friends.
