We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.
Judy & Steve Lukacs
The tents, sleeping swags and locations to camp were great. I had the best night sleeps!
Jen, Joe & Jack Previtera
The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.
Jenny McKenzie-Murray
Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm.
Denis & Shirley Ranger
Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable.
Jos Benner
To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.
Rebecca Lingam
The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.
Meryl & Glenn Jackson
The camping experience was great fun and campfires at night added to the experience.
Steve & Connie Calderwood
I just wanted to personally write to you and let you know what a great experience we had on the tour.
It certainly lived up to and exceeded all our expectations.
I have done many tours overseas and what we experienced with you was by far better. I felt that you interacted with everyone and included everyone so that we made the most of our journey.
Your knowledge of the Kimberley’s is commendable.
We arrived in Melbourne to a fierce thunderstorm and our suburb had the most rain since 1904 with many roads flooded, so we did experience “the big wet!”
Once again thank you for a fantastic experience of this great country of ours.

Marie and I have been reflecting on our recent trip with Gools and Thommo and would like to add a little to our previous anonymous feedback.
These two tour leaders revealed impressive values that make them ideal guides for visitors to the Kimberley. They respect the original custodians and their history and culture. They aspire to continue learning, from books, from passengers, and from all of the people they encounter that make up the Kimberley. Good on ’em.

Gosh – what can I say after such a brilliant trip? I don’t think I would have seen as many of the hidden gems of the Kimberley without Adey and Corf’s expert guiding, covering a lot of ground in a relaxed and interesting way, professional, fun and great cooking.
Great equipment and a comfortable bus, I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Adventure Wild to tour the Kimberley with. I had a great experience, the group I was with were easy going and fun to be with – everyone contributing to such a great trip.
Many thanks

We’ve thought a lot about travelling to the Kimberley, but camping was never our option until we saw Greg at the Travel Show in Sydney. He was most persuasive and informative about what was to be in store for us, and I am very happy to say that he was correct in every way.
For someone who has not camped before, it was certainly an unforgettable experience for both Jeffrey and myself.
We’ve learned how to roll our swags, take down the tent in record time. Sleeping in the tent, seeing the glistening night sky, sitting around the camp fire at night, sipping champagne, nibbling on cheese and crackers while the sun setting, listening to Rory and Stephan singing and playing their guitar and flute are memories we will treasure.
However, I did have some reservation before the tour since I have a special dietary requirement. Getting gluten free food in a restaurant in the middle of the city is difficult enough, let alone in the middle of nowhere. To my surprise, the meal throughout the trip was wholesome, gluten free, plenty of meat, vegetable and fruits. We were never hungry!!!!
Memories of our 12 days tour flooding back as I am flipping through hundreds of photos I’ve taken. Most noticeably are the beautifully scenic gorges where we swam, swimming across the river, sitting in the hot spring, picking fire wood for our camp fire, stopping for morning/afternoon tea and lunch. Picking rosella flowers for the tasty rosella jam Rory made. Seeing the numerous bird life, fresh water croc and the sun set along the Lake Argyle (optional tour) was a peaceful and worthwhile experience. Walking along the Bungle Bungle, and listening to Stephan playing the flute in the Cathedral Gorge was “icing on the cake”!!!
Thank you Rory and Stephan for taking such good care of us, and to have made this such a wonderful, and happy vacation for all of us. I have no reservation in recommending Adventure Wild to my friends, and to those who have any dietary requirement! To those who have not camped before, it will be an adventure of a life time!!!

I want to thank you and your company for an absolutely wonderful adventure – just as I had imagined it! And then better. Both Corf and Adie were just fantastic, going out of their way to make sure we each had a great time.
Thank you for all your help, information and the speed in answering all queries. If I can ever help in any way from here, please let me know. I will certainly be passing on the info.

I have just returned from my trip of a lifetime with the wonderful GREG and CHOCCY, I have had the most amazing trip on the 12 day Broome to Broome adventure. Greg and Choccy’s passion and love of the Kimberley region, including the birdlife, plants, the history including rock formations and indigenous knowledge was a gift to us all.
They went out of their way to encourage us all. I did things that I didn’t think I could do including landing that fantastic barramundi on the Lower Ord. Its hard to pick just one memorable moment and I can’t, everyday was a new and fantastic adventure for me, thank you
I don’t know how Choccy manages to create such beautiful meals and get us all fed including those sweets. She is truly inspirational.
Greg your playing in Cathedral Gorge was so memorable, a beautiful experience, I know this was shared by all. Going on this trip as a solo traveller you always have a little reservation but the moment I was picked up I felt like we were just a group of friends on a big adventure.
Might I add that from the time I first called Simone and spoke with her I knew I had the right company. Simone you were just wonderful to deal with, nothing was too much trouble, What I need now is another trip to look forward to please. A special thank you to all my fellow travellers who were just wonderful.

A very big thank you to you, Greg and Choccy for making our camping tour so amazing we absolutely loved it and have recommended the tour to friends.
The landscape, walking through the gorges, the waterfalls, swimming, lots of rock hopping was all brilliant.
The campsites were wonderful, setting up the tents and rolling the swags was quite an experience which we would do again.
Greg and Choccy were fantastic. We had a fantastic group with lots of fun and laughter, lots of jokes by everyone including jokes from Greg and Choccy.
The meals were excellent, well prepared and delicious and there was plenty of it and the desserts were excellent too.
Thank you again for a fantastic trip. It was great to see another part of our beautiful country.

Congratulations on your superbly run organisation. This first week has covered so much more than I had hoped for! I have seen and experienced the Kimberley in wonderful breadth and depth. Thank you so much.

First a big thanks to you and the other people behind the scene who obviously work hard to provide such a wonderful and professional experience.
The highlight for both Elaine and myself for this tour was our two exceptional guides Gools and Thomo. They were quick to make themselves familiar with us and to share their passion for the Kimberley. Their many stories both in the bus and in camp were informative and entertaining. Information provided was well researched and invaluable. And in conducting the tour their diligence to detail was outstanding and a major contributor to all going well.
The itinerary, length of tour and places visited were spot on. And our guides provided us with a few extras. Food and camps were fantastic
