Mere words don’t allow me to give a strong enough testimonial for this trip. The Kimberley is magnificent and Adventure Wild take you to all the best places. The Gibb river road is rough, and it is a camping trip – although with well organised pre-set campsites. Guides Liz and Phil deserve at least a 6 or 7 out of 5 for making the experience so special.
What a fantastic experience for a couple of oldies (in their 70’s) with very little camping experience.
Our journey took us to and through some amazing scenery. The daily program was full and yet there was plenty of time to get in touch with and absorb the beauty of nature and country. The various excursions all took in to account the varying capabilities of the participants.
Our vehicle was very comfortable, all campsites were excellent (the private one for the last night was extra special) and the meals produced were delicious culinary experiences.
The leaders, Thommo and Gools, are truly dedicated and professional. Their great knowledge was communicated with enthusiasm and some humour, without information overload.
Adventure Wild and its wonderful staff enabled us to enjoy an experience which went far beyond our expectations. A huge big thanks to you all and keep up your great work.

We had a fantastic time on our Adventure Wild trip. Carmel and Mark are the most amazing hosts – from cooking delicious meals to first aid and tour leading among many other skills. Everything was done professionally and with a wonderful sense of humour.

Adventure Wild WOW WOW WOW
The pre tour service was helpful and nothing was a problem. From our first enquiry to the phone call the day prior to our tour beginning to inform us that we were being picked up at 6am was always friendly and informative.
From this moment on the adventure began. We cannot express how immensely enjoyable and awe inspiring this trip has been. Everyday gave us new sights and challenges. The days are long but we travelled big distances, Carmel and Mark helped make this as comfortable and easy on all of us. With information as we were going passed sights and what to expect at our next stops plus just fun stuff on the way. Carmel and Mark were friendly, informative, helpful and supportive throughout the entire tour. Some of us couldn’t walk as fast as others but either Carmel or Mark were always there to make sure you got to the sights without much problem. The meals they supplied/cooked were wonderful, you never went hungry. P.S. I need to lose a few kilos now.
The experience was enhanced by having wonderful co travellers with us. Everyone was always pitching in and helping one another. The stories and laughter around the camp fire were contagious. This included our nightly TTT session. We can’t stop talking about this great tour and highly recommend it to everyone.

Now that we have finally arrived back home we would like to thank you for the wonderful trip along The Gibb River Road with our fabulous tour guides Mark (today, tonight, tomorrow) and Carmel.
We would like to thank Carmel and Mark for their excellent organisational skills, the wonderful meals, that they prepared, the help and care which they showed in guiding us to all the wonderful gems in the Kimberley’s. It was a fun trip with lots of banter and camaraderie sitting around the campfire each night after a wonderful meal prepared by Carmel and Mark.
As tour guides they were excellent and very informative in providing a great commentary on the Kimberley, the history, geography, birdlife and plants with good humour.
Rolling swags was a new experience for many of us but we all helped, ably supported by Mark and Carmel.
We would recommend this trip to anyone who loves adventure and is happy to be challenged and would love to see the Kimberleys in all it’s awesome beauty and what a special part of Australia it is.

We would recommend this tour to anybody fit enough, and we would do it again. Swag rolling and rocky trails were a bit of a challenge for us over 70s but well worth the effort.
