We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.

We have had one of the most wonderful experiences on this Kimberley Adventurer tour. The tour far exceeeded our expectations. We are so full of admiration for Carmel and Mark and their hard work, knowledge and dedication to providing such a great time.

Firstly, thank you for being such a well organised company to deal with, it has been such a trouble free process. It is very much appreciated.
Secondly, Carmel and Mark are also very organised and amazing hosts, they went above and beyond in all they did. I felt very safe and well taken care of under their guidance. A truly wonderful caring and kind couple. Lastly, this trip has been life changing for me. This was my first solo travel and I felt very anxious wondering if I would go okay etc. I have gained confidence and feel I can take on the world. So a big thank you again to Carmel and Mark for their encouragement and patience when I was slow or wanting to give up on some hikes.
I also feel the way things are organised helps to develop a team approach amongst the travellers, we hit it off immediately no bad moods (that I noticed 😁)and certainly lots of laughs.

Our trip was way more than we expected. The Kimberley countryside is amazing, and many people can experience that, but there is no better way to do it than with one of Adventure Wild’s tours. Gools and Thommo were magnificent (I’m sure the other guides are fantastic too) and we cannot thank them enough. Fabulous food, great commentary, and an amazing level of organisation and professionalism. A whole lot of fun as well.
When Thommo had an issue with the truck, we were amazed at how quickly it was solved. Huge thanks to Karl for his big drive, and for Simone in the background organising it all. Having backup vehicles makes it all go so smoothly.
I could keep going, but just wish to say thankyou to everyone for running such a professional organisation, and for having that personal touch as well.

Our tour with Gools and Thommo exceeded all of our expectations. The itinery, food, locations certainly made for a wonderful trip. However it was Gools and Thommo’s input that made it for us. Knowledge of aboriginal groups and local history, their duty of care at all times and of course their cooking. While it was a busy 12 days they still made it relaxing.

This tour more than met my expectations. I have long wanted to travel to the Kimberleys, but didn’t really think I would ever get there. Finding this tour on Facebook was the luckiest thing for me as I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than going with Adventure Wild.
Apart from the Kimberleys having the most amazing scenery I have ever seen, the tour was absolutely the most well run tour I have been on. Liz and Phil are the most wonderful tour guides. As well as being extremely knowledgeable about the area, they are so kind and thoughtful, and have endless patience. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I loved the walks into the different gorges, then at the end of each day there would be a delicious meal ready for us. I will certainly long remember my experience of the Kimberleys.

Firstly, I just wanted to say a big thanks for the amazing experience of my 1st (and not my last) trip to the Kimberley – which was made even more memorable by Phil and Liz. They were an absolute ‘gem’ of a couple and looked after us all, and their knowledge of the area was simply outstanding. I’ts made me want to learn a lot more of this beautiful part of our country.
Again, I want to express my gratitude to you guys for organising these wonderful trips and I hope to do a full trip in the near future with my UK friends – it would be such an experience for them.

Thank you Gools, Thommo and the Adventure Wild team for another fabulous trip (last done in 2015). It was wonderful to see the Kimberley in a different season with the supreme team of Gools (the camp kitchen 5 star chef) and Thommo (master mechanic, story teller of tall tales and true) and both great professionals as drivers and guides.
