We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

Thank you for your lovely message and wishes. I will never forget the wonderful trip with Adventure Wild – I talk about it often with other people.
I learned a great deal from Gools and Thommo’s in depth commentary about the Kimberley natural environment and communities, and then to actually ‘live’ the experience was amazing and very satisfying. I also discovered a lot more about myself and what I am capable of achieving. So often we tell ourselves that we can’t do that – we are too old, too unfit, too scared. None of it is true! I absolutely loved clambering around and through the gorges and was amazed at how fit I actually was. Fantastic for a 69 year old!
Thank you so much again for a memorable experience. I wish both you, and your staff, especially Gools and Thommo, the best Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
PS: I will be moving back to Gippsland in Victoria next year, so will be able to tell a lot more people about Adventure Wild! Might be able to catch up with the Gippsland fellow travellers as well!

I have just spent a little time reflecting on my year and for me, personally, what a huge one it has been – I have just watched the Adventure Wild Tour video again, Tim and Vanessa – love it!!! Soooo many memories… Certainly though, I’ll admit that our Adventure Wild Tour this year is at the top of my highlights list. I just love reminiscing on those so many good times!!!
Thommo and Gools – I thought of you both again just last week, I am sure that you are enjoying your time doing all those things that you spoke about five/ six months ago on your property Finally, at this time may I take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful festive season and may you enjoy family, friends and quiet times. Sorry that we ae SOOO late in returning this questionnaire! We had every intention of getting it to you months ago, and somehow the time has disappeared. We loved the trip in May with Cheryl and Wayne, and think of it every day. If it is any consolation, we have told plenty people about Adventure Wild and hope that this might translate into future bookings for you :)) Of course the Season will have now finished for the year, and so hopefully you can all have some sort of a break – even if for a short while – before it all revs up again.

What we need – is a product like yours, where the attention to details such as getting up early in order to make the most of daylight hours is so important (we feel the same way!), where personalized service by the guides come through to the passengers and where the knowledge of the guides is top.

Rather than engage in copious details, we have decided to provide you with a succinct testimonial.
Suffice to say that the tour exceeded our expectations in every respect, and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. From first inquiry, to drop off, the organisation was efficient and friendly. All individual needs were catered for. The food was varied, nutritious and copious. The guides (Wayne and Cheryl) were knowledgeable, helpful and seemingly inexhaustible. For this type of tour you rate an A++.

The trip was wonderful, just challenging enough, made all the more special because of the lovely partnership that Goolie and Thommo shared, they were calm but firm when needed and vitally interested in their work and surroundings and that rubbed of on us making everyone keen to experience all that they possible could……just loved it and will do all in my power to get my kids to do the trip instead of bloody Bali over and over!

information you are seeking I thought I would add to his comments.
Pre-tour service:-
Your attention to all our needs was exemplary. You were fast and efficient
and most helpful.
Itinerary:-
The pace of the tour was well paced as well as most interesting.
Meals:-
The variety, quantity and quality were exceptional. They were well prepared,
interesting and plentiful. Gools did a fantastic job. I admire her skill in
being able to conjour up a banquet in what were challenging and difficult
conditions and present a veritable feast at the end of every long hot day.

Campsites:-
Generally well kept.
Tour Guides:-
It is hard to know where to start. Gools and Thommo are a real assett to
your business. They are the most dedicated, interesting, amusing, caring
guides any tour business could wish to have. Their humour never failed them, even when Thommo had to change 3 wheels in one day in temperatures in the mid 30’s. They were amenable and understanding of the needs of all the participants on the tour. Their knowledge of the local area was impressive, as was their dedication to spreading the eco message. Their understanding of the local indigenous culture was refreshing. We are deighted that we got to travel with Thommo and Gools because it would be hard to imagine anybody else could do a better job than they did.
Comfort:-
sleeping in a swag was never my idea of comfort. However, after a couple of days it was in fact very comfortable. The worst part of the experience was
having to roll our swags each morning. I think we just about got the hang of
it by day 5.
Hygiene:-
The level of hygiene was high. Gools set the high standard and maintained it
throughout. There were no short cuts to hygiene. Again – congratulations.
