We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.

As you are now breaking in a new group we just wanted to say again many thanks for such a good time. Memories will be our talking point for a while.
But we also wanted to share some info. At our B&B a couple we had met on the plane over from Brisbane came to stay. They travelled with another company. The difference in the two tours was like chalk and cheese and they had little positive to say about the guides, the organisation, the vehicles, the meal prep (what was expected of the clients). Comparing made us even more happier we chose you guys.
Your knowledge and enthusiasm was certainly a stand out.

Liz and Phil were fantastic guides and helped to make the tour really memorable. I’m only sorry I was suffering from a spider bite and on antibiotics when I joined. My fitness levels plummeted and I had to pass on many of the walks. However I really enjoyed what I was able to do and the Kimberley is a beautiful area to just sit and take in the scenery.
Most of the group were very friendly and welcoming to those of us who were singles (does not always happen, I did one lonely trip where the women all thought I was after their husband which could not have been further from the truth!). There was always plenty of help with a tent or to roll my swag. A shame I was not going this week as my fitness has improved and I am sure I’d be out front on those walks.
I have been telling everyone I meet what a great time I had with Adventure Wild but most just look at me when they hear it is camping but I’m sure I’ll meet somebody who would like a brochure.
Thanks again for such a well organised tour with wonderful Phil and Liz.

Wow! What an exciting adventure.
Thankyou so much to our tour leaders Carmel and Mark for sharing so well their passion for the Kimberley. Their knowledge and professionalism shone through as we bumped along and they shared wonderful sites, walks, swims.

I would like to compliment the Adventure Wild team on producing a wonderful experience from our initial contact to the final day of the tour. An efficient, friendly and professional approach was evident in all aspects of the planning and conduct of the tour
Our concerns of sleeping in a swag were quickly put aside as they were always a comfortable place for our weary bones to get a good night’s sleep.
Our knowledgeable guides, Mark and Carmel, led us to spectacular places that we would not have seen on our own and provided informative commentary that gave us an insight into the history and indigenous culture of the Kimberley. Their skills with camp cooking came to the fore with a variety of great meals. They made our tour really memorable.
The tour members became friends with whom to share the experiences of the day around the camp fire.
I cannot say enough about the whole experience; well done to all the Adventure Wild team.

TOUR GUIDES/HOSTS – THOMMO & GOOLS (Wayne & Cheryl )….These two are the VERY BEST.
On Friday 12 May 2017 my wife & I joined 16 others for the 12 day adventure through the Kimberley…..AND WHAT AN ADVENTURE!!
All enjoyed Thommo & Gools commentary, their sense of fun & banter & gracious & respectfulness to all. Kimberley knowledge…wow! We learned so much about this beautiful but rugged part of Australia.
The magnificent gorge cliffs, spectacular waterfalls & rock formations…so often we are in awe.
This is the best tour & would encourage other to avail themselves to Adventure Wild.
Everything has been thought through to make this trip one to remember.
We never felt rushed & it was good to have a couple of days in various spots to be ” active ” or laze about (washing clothes time).
CONGRATULATIONS Gools on the wonderful meals (no skimping here)…what a treat each night..a different country represented + desserts (my favourite was tiramisu….best that I have ever eaten). Each night we wondered what magic Gools was going to present.

The Gibb River Rd with its beautiful sunrises, sunsets, black skies filled with stars, gorges with amazing waterfalls, all roads open – well it surpassed all our expectations. Zebedee springs was pure luxury.
We had travelled up the highway many years ago, before the Bungles were known to the tourist so visiting and taking a helicopter flight was awe inspiring and a privilege.
We do not usually camp in a tent but found it comfortable, how else do you get to see such amazing scenery.
It was great to have Mark and Carmel look after us, drive, cook and guide us with only a few chores for everyone to help with.
Mark and Carmel were great tour guides, thank you.

What a wonderful Kimberley tour my husband and I experienced recently with our fabulous guides, Carmel and Mark. Nothing was too much trouble for these two and their enthusiasm for the Kimberleys was contagious. We particularly enjoyed their vast knowledge of the local history and culture.
The itinerary was fairly ‘full-on’, meaning we were able to fit in as many activities and attractions as possible.
The variety and quality of all the meals was outstanding with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Carmel was so well organised.

I would like to thank Adventure Wild for the outstanding tour I have taken part in. Over the years I did some 30 organized tours in many countries, but Adventure Wild is one of the best I have been on.
Mark and Carmel are the very best tour leaders one could have. They are not only talented tour guides and cooks they are also making friends very easily, as well as bonding a bunch of strangers together in a most pleasant way, in a very short time.
Of course the scenery is beautiful and a treat for a landscape photographer.

The entire organization, from the first contact until to the end of the trip, everything was perfectly organized.
The information in advance of the trip were very helpful and informative, there was nothing missing.
The pace of the tour was ideal and really for me all the spots were an absolute highlight.
I enjoyed the walks very much, the scenery was fantastic and the waterfalls a dream. What can I say, the Kimberley are just great!
Our tour guides Liz and Phil were fabulous. They were always in a good mood, nothing too much, they spoiled us and made us an unforgettable time, also the food was very delicious and varied. Impossible to suffer hunger on this tour J.
