We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.
Judy & Steve Lukacs
The tents, sleeping swags and locations to camp were great. I had the best night sleeps!
Jen, Joe & Jack Previtera
The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.
Jenny McKenzie-Murray
Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm.
Denis & Shirley Ranger
Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable.
Jos Benner
To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.
Rebecca Lingam
The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.
Meryl & Glenn Jackson
The camping experience was great fun and campfires at night added to the experience.

Hi Simone,
Myself and 3 girlfriends commenced our Adventure Wild tour on 6/5/22 with Dean and Kylie.
What a fabulous time we all had. Dean and Kylie were wonderful. So organised, fabulous cooks and tour guides.
Nothing was ever to much trouble.
Both Dean and Kylie had mountains of knowledge of the Kimberley which they shared with us. We came out a lot wiser about our native land and our forebears who are the traditional owners.
Most of all we felt like a family. They are with us, laughed with us all whilst doing a fabulous job.
We would recommend Dean and Kylie – Adventure Wild Kimberley Tours to anyone.
Kindest Regards
Thank you Adventure Wild for an amazing itinerary, comfortable tent accommodation and especially Gools and Thommo’s effortless teamwork in looking after everything. Memories of the true Kimberley Adventure will never be forgotten.
On a tour like this you don’t miss the stories and sights that make the Kimberley’s rich hisory and facts of this region known.
Thank you Simone and Karl for always being there when arranging my booking and finalising optional tours.
Kind regards
Hi Simone, I was so disappointed to read that Tommo and Gools have covid. They tried so hard to ensure that we enjoyed a covid free tour it doesn’t seem in anyway fair that they should have contracted covid after our return.
Thanks to them we had a wonderful tour. They were fantastic and the tour was equally fantastic, experiencing the wonders of the Kimberley.
Please pass on my thoughts and regards
This would have to be one of the most organised and efficient trips I have been involved with.
Simone your service, response and assistance is amazing. I wish you could be my travel agent.
Thommo & Gools your welcoming personalities, knowledge and my goodness, hard work, are over and above. I would highly recommend your company in every aspect and I could not fault anything.
Thanks again for a memorable and worry free holiday.
All of the trip was fantastic.
Not much of a camper, but was worth it to see the amazing scenery and our guides, Thommo and Gools, made everything run smoothly, nothing too much trouble (looking out for that recipe book Gools).
I will recommend Adventure Wild to everyone for this trip of a life time.
Dear Simone and Karl,
Just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic trip, I must admit I’m not really a person that normally does these types of holidays but thanks to the wonderful guidance and commentary by both Kylie and Dean it turned into the most fun and interesting holiday. They are truly an inspiration of how two people can bring the stories and history of the Kimberly’s to life. I have travelled to most of the sights before and they brought new joy and information that I had not known.
They had the utmost patience and sense of humour as they dealt with differing levels of experience (me being quite slow at walking and sometimes a bit whingy too) they never made me feel like I was holding the group back, and always supported each and everyone.
If you wanted a little feedback on the campsites, they were mostly fantastic, in particular I really enjoyed El Questro, I enjoyed the fact that we were there 3 nights which was a pleasant break from rolling our swag and backing up, I would have liked a free night to eat in the restaurant, I know that’s tricky as food is included, but I would have been happy to pay extra for that or maybe if this is something you would consider you could do a deal with El Questro?
We all would have loved a night out with Kylie and Dean, (who wouldn’t) and El Questro could be the perfect venue to do so.
Lastly the tour food is amazing, in so many ways, healthy, tasty and a great variety, and I was astonished that Kylie and Dean could be that organised as to provide delicious meals on top of everything else they did.
So well done to the Adventure Wild Tours, I will certainly recommend your company to all of my adventurist friends 🙂
Warm Regards
Thank you, Simone for sorting this. Appreciate also your welcome home email this arvo.
A wonderful trip, thoroughly helpful and knowledgeable G&T made us comfortable and relaxed knowing they are so experienced. Certainly saw, walked, swam, stayed in a spectacular part of Oz.
I wish you and all your guides safe travelling, with healthy groups maintained till this Covid clears off.
Had a ball, only 700 photos!
Great experience, thanks.
Thanks Simone,
I have had an amazing trip thru’ the Kimberley. I have experienced so many amazing aspects of this country and learnt so much about it and eaten like royalty. Gools & Thommo work so hard to make each travellers experience memorable and rewarding, they work long hours and do the mundane and exciting with equal ease & grace with a good sprinkling of humour. I am so glad Judy Polkinghorne of Girls on Tour recommended this tour to me.
Wishing you continued success in your business,
Regards Jenny
Hello Simone,
I thought it might be useful to provide you with a bit of feedback on our recently completed tour. First can I say that it was everything we expected and more. We were very fortunate to have Liz and Phil as our tour leaders. Their relaxed, personable style, and breadth of knowledge of the region made every day enjoyable and informative. It was also good that they were prepared to show a bit of flexibility in relation to each days arrangements, and ad-lib as circumstances dictated.
Top of the list for us as far as attractions are concerned was Emma Gorge. We also rank El Questro Gorge and Geike Gorge highly.
Manning Falls is spectacular, and would be up there as well. The Triple JJJ cruise down the Ord River was outstanding. I don’t know whether it was because of fatigue or what, but for us, Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek lacked that ‘wow’ factor!
To be truthful, I’m not sure we ever got used to the swags and tents, but if the ablutions were of a good standard then it made a big difference. Here Kimberleyland was a clear leader, followed by El Questro. (What a wonderful place Kimberleyland is, it’s obvious that a lot of effort goes into all areas).
We thought the pace of things was generally ok. We did though appreciate the afternoon off at El Questro, and thought that the afternoon following the walk to Manning Falls should also been left free. (Galvan’s Gorge is pretty, but you have to draw a line somewhere!)
Finally, from our very first contact, and throughout, we have been impressed by the organisation and management of Adventure Wild – thank you!
Best wishes
I am so impressed with what you, Gools, Thommo and team of workers (there has to be others behind the scene?) have accomplished to ensure a fabulous experience for all of the travellers on board Tour 2205 (departed Broome 18 May).
Kind Regards
