We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.
Judy & Steve Lukacs
The tents, sleeping swags and locations to camp were great. I had the best night sleeps!
Jen, Joe & Jack Previtera
The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.
Jenny McKenzie-Murray
Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm.
Denis & Shirley Ranger
Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable.
Jos Benner
To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.
Rebecca Lingam
The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.
Meryl & Glenn Jackson
The camping experience was great fun and campfires at night added to the experience.
Steve & Connie Calderwood
Dear Phil and Liz
We would like to sincerely thank you for our Kimberley experience. We went there with great anticipation of seeing some amazing sights and sites and we were not disappointed. We thought doing the trip with a tour group would also be good, but the experience was far better than expected. Everyone in our group seemed to get along so well (despite living in each other’s company 24 hours a day for 12 days) making it great fun.
However, the real gel for the trip was your leadership and care. Your constant energy, positivity and, above all, patience was truly admirable. If we had done the trip as a self-drive, we would have seen the sights. But your wealth of knowledge and the manner in which you shared this, gave us so much more than just seeing it. You brought the area to life by giving us the background to the history (both pre and post European settlement), the geography, the geology, the wildlife and stories about the characters who live there. Your encyclopaedic knowledge of the country was impressive. And you were able to negotiate this rugged terrain in a way that kept us safe and comfortable at all times.
Tony’s note: Thank you for taking the time to share with me so many things to cater for my interests and to personalise my experience. Things like which spots to find specific birds, where to go for a short walk, what sort of birds to find where -these pearls of advice were greatly appreciated. You were always so generous in giving of your time to share this advice.
We would also like to mention how Simone and Karl have always been so efficient in dealing with our enquiries and keeping us up to date with the steps involved in planning our adventure. We could not fault the whole experience. Thank you for that. I do plan to write a review for Trip Advisor as I know that is a well-used resource for people planning a trip and we want readers there to know the quality of the service your company provides.
Thanks again. You have a real gift for what you do and you are truly a dynamic duo.
Dear Simone,
Many thanks for all Adventure Wild have done for us during our recent tour. Your communication both pre and post tour was outstanding. Liz and Phil are absolutely outstanding. Their combined skills, knowledge and personalities make them brilliant ambassadors for Adventure Wild.
I would strongly recommend Adventure Wild to anyone who wants to experience the beautiful Kimberley in the best possible way.
Congratulations Adventure Wild for managing and arranging such exceptional tours showcasing so many amazing features of the Kimberley region. We enjoyed every moment of our tour with our guides Carmel and Mark; outstanding commentary and knowledge of the area, brilliant meals, and such fun, positive, passionate people. Carmel and Mark are great ambassadors for Adventure Wild! The 12 day itinerary included all of the natural attractions of the Kimberley that we were keen to see. We whole heartily would recommend this tour and this company.
Good morning Simone
Pete and I would like to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip with Adventure Wild.
The itinerary was well thought out, and it seemed as though every day we were saying ‘this is the best yet’ only to be shocked by seeing or doing something even better the next day!
The food was terrific, as was the entertainment and information given throughout the tour by Carmel and Mark.
Carmel and Mark are passionate and were completely devoted to making sure that we had the most amazing trip, often going out of their way to make sure everything was special for us. Their enthusiasm and excitement was contagious and made us feel almost as though they were doing and seeing things for the first time too.
They are very passionate and special people who obviously love their job and they are just the best guides. They are wonderful representatives for your company and their love of our beautiful country is obvious.
Thanks for such a great trip.
Kind regards
Mark and Carmel are fantastic – totally organised and friendly – cheerful the whole time and constantly aware of our individual needs – meals were great – unbelievable that we ate so well every day – the company was great -it was a real pleasure to have met and got to know such a diverse and friendly group of people – we both came home feeling 100% satisfied that the trip was everything we had hoped for – thank you again Mark and Carmel for a fantastic trip and Simone for your efficient organising and personal help
Cheers to all
Dear All
Thanks for your happy company on what was a truly wonderful trip for John and I. That country, those walks, that food, that evening fire, our fabulous tour leaders – it couldn’t have been better. Here’s our song. What great fun. I thought we did a pretty good job considering we hadn’t practiced, and the “boys” were outstanding with their sassy arm movements! Well done for the choreography Maryanne.
We’re goin’ up the country, gotta get away
We’re goin’ up the country, do you wanna play
We’re goin’ up the country, to the Kimberley
Gonna leave the city, gotta get away
Liz and Phil to take us, places we ain’t been
Mt Barnett station, Boab Prison Tree
We’re goin’ up the country, don’t you wanna ride
Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge, Jane’s plastic crocodiles
Camping on the Manning, talkin’ round the fire
We’re im the Kimberley, come and have some fun
Rock art country takes your breath away
Galvan’s Gorge had crocodiles, Maryanne swam away
Long drive on the Gibb, over that rough road
Heading to Home Valley on the Pentecost
Sunset on the Cockburn Range looked like fire
To El Questro, via Emma Gorge
Deb took a rough tumble, wow that is some bruise
Spend the afternoon on a Chamberlain Cruise
Finally we got to the end of the Gibb Road
Prince Phil’s causing trouble on the old highway
Could have come to blows without diplomacy
We’ve been up the country, had a super time
Now we’ve gotta talk about everyone
Queen Lizzie’s such a diplomat, we all feel OK
Stew and Dave have been together since their kindy days
Karen and Rob don’t mind it cos they have such fun
Phil and Gail are busy, always on the run
Grant’s the man with a camera, hope he shares some shots

Stay well and happy
Simone. I cannot thank you enough for an amazing tour and experiences in the Kimberleys. Loved every walk, the Gibb River Road, Bungle Bungles and our can tour leaders Mark and Carmel. They were absolutely amazing with everything including walks, rolling swags, food and plenty of it. I could keep going as so much was 100%, I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see our out back. Hope I can do this again sometime!
Thank you
Hi Simone,
I don’t know where to start in explaining how much I loved my whole trip to WA and most of that was all thanks to you and your amazing Adventure Wild tour. Thank you so so much for all that you organised for me which made my whole trip so special and so memorable. Thank you so much for contacting all the suppliers to get me on all the optional tours. I really enjoyed them all so much and I think I have almost seen all of the Kimberley now. I have been to 41 countries and who knew that part of my own country was going to become one of my favourites! There really is nowhere else like WA, it is so beautiful.
To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything. Mark and Carmel were amazing and took such good care of us every step of the way. They made it all look so easy, but of course it was a lot of hard work on their part on making our Adventure Wild so special, and I learnt so many new things, like rolling a swag! And I was very lucky to have a great group of people to travel with which made it even more memorable. Everything was so well organised and set up at all the campsites, and the food was delicious every night. I was hoping to lose some weight but unfortunately I have put on weight! Hehe..
I will be highly recommending a visit to WA with Adventure Wild. It’s certainly a trip you will always remember.
Thank you so much again Simone for everything. I really appreciate it.
I look forward to catching up with you again sometime either in Broome or in Melbourne.
Take care.
Although we only joined the tour in Kununurra, we were amazed at how efficiently it was run. Carmel and Mark did an amazing job – great hosts, knowledgable tour guides and magnificent cooks! The tour and its itinerary is one I would certainly recommend to anyone contemplating seeing this region of Australia. Thank you!
Hi Simone
I had a great time. Love Carmel & Mark, they were super troupers. Always there for you and with a smile. Lovely fellow travellers. The food was amazing and plenty of it.
And off course you too. Thank you for being so accommodating. Taking care of everything for me. 😉
Still a few days left in Broome. Leave on Thursday for Exmouth. Then on tour for Karijini NP.
Tonight meeting up with some of the group to watch the sunset at Cable Beach.
Thank you for everything.
