We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.

We had a wonderful trip with Adventure Wild and enjoyed it very much.
Magnus and Wendy were great guides and worked tirelessly to run the trip smoothly and feed us like kings! The food was really good, a nice variety and plenty of it. Wendy’s a great cook. We really enjoyed the touch of having morning tea each day.
Magnus was an excellent and careful driver.
Having never slept in a swag before we weren’t quite sure what to expect but they were very comfortable.
We return to the UK on Friday and I’ll have a look at the photos and see if there are any worth sharing.

Phil and Liz are absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable and a wonderful experience. The group is also very compatible and good sports.

Having seen the rest of tour companies doing this trip Adventure Wild is without question the best by far. The guides were exceptionally good in every aspect. They are a great asset to Adventure Wild.

The trip was amazing. The organisation was tip top. As for Phil and Liz, word’s cannot describe how fantastic they were. They were so obliging and absolutely nothing was too much for them. Their combined knowledge was so interesting and informative. Their cooking was great as well. Magnus and Wendy were also great to travel with. I would most certainly recommend your company to anyone looking to do this type of adventure.

I had a wonderful time thank you. As you know, Liz and Phillip are an amazing couple. I have travelled with a lot of guides all over the world and they simply are the best. So friendly, funny, patient, hard working, discreet etc etc. They made the trip extra special with their knowledge and companionship and I just wanted to express my admiration for them more personally.

I’m not sure that I have the words to describe the wonderful experience of the Adventure Wild Kimberley Tour. (I was so sad to return home from this amazing area) I really loved travelling with you guys.
Our guides and drivers, Thommo and Gools, were exceptional. Thommo was engaging and entertaining with his commentary and tall tales and the gourmet meals from Gools… to die for! I don’t know how they do it – they are machines!
Everyone was cared for and this group of strangers (thanks also to Judy from Girls on Tour) soon became a team of supportive women (and Razer of course) – everyone looking out for and helping each other. Gools and Thommo gently encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones, and I am so thankful that they did. Every hike was rewarding with beautiful waterholes to cool off and photograph endlessly! Those colours!! No request was too big or too small for G&T’s attention and you were never made to feel as if you were being a nuisance.
I think travelling in a small group was perfect. This adventure and the wonderful sites (sigh) ticked off a bucket list item for me. I would return in a heartbeat if I could and thoroughly recommend AW. Simone was so prompt and helpful in getting back to me with any questions that I had and was always super friendly.
I hope to visit again one day.
