We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.

Just finished a tour with Adventure Wild with Phil and Liz as our guides. It was the most amazing trip I’ve done in ages. Phil and Liz were so informative, nothing was a problem. They cooked fabulous meals and filled our heads with heaps of interesting facts about the Kimberleys. 16 people on the trip was a good number as we all got to know each other over the 12day period. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in an adventure into the expansive landscape of Western Australia. Thanks to Phil and Liz for all their support, organisation and great fun.

What a fantastic trip. The guides Liz and Phil couldn’t have been more helpful and experienced. The Kimberley is not an easy place to access but this was the best way to see it: camping under the stars, enjoying great food and company while experiencing the unique culture and environment of the Kimberley without the hassle of towing a caravan and having to do it all yourself. Bell Gorge, Manning Falls and the Lake Argyle (jet boat) cruise were standouts. I can highly recommend.

I want to thank you for such a wonderful tour and holiday. The Kimberley met and exceeded my expectations, which was helped by the itinerary, optional tours, absolutely fantastic guides and camaraderie amongst the group engendered by the organisation and facilities.
Liz and Phil were amazing – so organised, so friendly, fun and knowledgeable, so adept at managing the camp and group. Our time felt very full (probably because I did all of the optional tours!) but I never felt hazzled by deadlines. They work so hard. I saw and heard about so many things that I would not have learnt without the itinerary and Phil and Liz. The tour was a wonderful mix of geography (geology and land usage), history (both indigenous and european) flora and fauna.
The bus was very comfortable (given the state of some roads and crossings). I always felt safe. The USB A and C chargers were a godsend particularly given I wear hearing aids which needed a seperate powerbank to be charged as well as my phone.
Food was plentiful, tasty and healthy
As a single traveller I loved that I didn’t have to share a tent without paying a single supplement – well done on including that in your tour. The swags were comfortable and I got better at rolling it!
I sent you several emails prior to the tour which you were so prompt in answering – I really appreciated that.

To achieve the Gibb and Bungle Bungles walks at a mature age with the support of Guides Jimmy & Kaz & fellow travellers has been an awesome & memorable experience. Right from the initial communications with Simone & Karl and their attention to detail to the relaxed & encouraging support of Jimmy & Kaz who shared their knowledge & love of the Kimberley, made this family owned Adventure Wild experience one we’ll never forget. And, those meals with fresh food were delicious and plentiful. Thank you all & fellow travellers for a fun and exciting time together.

From the first moment I ‘met’ Simone, the entire booking/arrangement process was so easy, from start to finish.
I had never been camping and was a bit apprehensive, but I absolutely loved the whole experience.
Our hosts, Liz and Phil were exceptional. They were both so friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem and their knowledge of the Kimberley was incredible. I couldn’t believe the standard of cooking for the entire 12 days. We had delicious, nutritious meals and such a variety. They’re both great cooks. Liz and Phil also gave appropriate advice regarding how hard each trek might be. I decided to forego a couple of the more difficult ones, but there were alternatives – a gentle stroll along the Manning River was a highlight for me.
Our early morning starts meant that we took advantage of every daylight hour and we never felt rushed at any of the wonderful places we visited. The different experiences we had every single day were amazing! A few of my favourites were swimming at Galvans Gorge, the optional Ord River cruise, seeing the abundant birdlife at Marlgu Billabong, helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungles. Wow!

I would like to acknowledge the huge amount of work you do to ensure these tours run smoothly so everyone can experience a deep appreciation of what the Kimberley has to offer.
Can you please pass on my thanks to our guides, Phil and Liz. They worked so hard from dawn til late driving us, feeding us and walking with us. Their knowledge of the areas we travelled in was extensive and interesting, contributing to a deeper appreciation of its vast geological past. Most of all, they created a cheerful group dynamic which made the trip totally enjoyable.
