We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.

Best Kimberley Outback Adventure Ever
The 12 day Kimberley outback trip was just amazing. Our guides Peter and Sarah were experienced, professional and friendly. We had a full bus of 17 in the group – some couples, some singles and a family. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, with a fabulous sense of fun and curiosity. It was a real adventure with some challenging walks, incredible scenery and heavenly swimming holes. The camping set up was exactly as described – comfortable but rustic! Food was great including lots of fresh fruit and veg as a well as snacks. Pete and Sarah are experts on the Kimberley and were generous in sharing their knowledge, and experiences with a great sense of humour.

I’m writing to inform you about your 2 guides Phil and Liz. Don’t ever let them leave your company…. they are fantastic.
We have just had the best time touring Broome to Broome with them. Phil’s sense of humour and Liz’s patience with people and their ability to just get things done is commendable. They both share the load each day with everything from packing swags on top of the truck, driving, cooking, cleaning up and keeping everyone happy!!!
So please give them a big thank you from us. Plus a thank you to you Simone for always a quick reply to us when we had a query.

Thankyou so much. The trip was awesome and Jimmy and Kaz are so very good at what they do. Food was unbelievable and nice to have healthy food on the road. She was like a magician seemingly preparing food out of nowhere. Their passion for nature and inclusion and encouragement of everyone in the group was great. You need to hold onto them!!!

Dougal Angus and I have just completed an awesome 12 day tour or the Kimberley with Sarah and Pete. What an amazing couple. We couldn’t rate Saran and Pete and Adventure Wild KimberleyTours highly enough.
Sarah sprained her ankle on the first morning but her and Pete were so hardworking, passionate, kind and patient. I think the way Sarah kept going so stoically when she was in pain was incredible .
We had many fabulous experiences, learned so much and loved the group we were with.. a beautiful group we will keep in contact with over the years.
Our 17 year old son loved the trip. He was the youngest but Sarah and Pete and all our gorgeous fellow travellers treated him so well!! Angus felt like he was Pete’s assistant.
The meals were superb, accommodation was comfortable and authentic, campfires memorable. A bucket list item indeed.

This trip was the best thing I have ever done for myself.
Rowena and Brett are 2 of the most amazing people I have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so supportive throughout the whole tour, working like a well oiled machine. Encouraging me to go beyond my comfort zone to experience everything.
The way they take care of everyone, feeding amazing meals to so many people every day and always with a smile. Not to mention all the fantastic places that we got to see and experience. I will be recommending Adventure Wild to anyone that will listen to me carry on about the amazing time that I had. 😜

The Kimberley – being well catered for and includes prime gorges, waterfalls, and extras.
Very well run trip, with two great tour leaders Kaz and Jimmie, who were resourceful, knowledgeable, kind, always helpful, well prepared and gave excellent briefings on daily excursions. The group size worked well, and were fun, cohesive, diverse (incl. 2 families with adult children), and the good dynamics were enhanced by the dynamics of Kaz and Jimmie. I’d highly recommend, but remember the Kimberley is BIG, rough, tough, dusty. But it has the ‘WOW’ factor in truck-loads. This is not a soft tour option, tho’ having been to the Kimberley many times mostly independently, doing it with Adventure Wild is a ‘song’ compared to trying to do it yourself. Its a ‘no worries’ trip.

Adventure Wild makes this incredible part of Australia accessible while showing it the respect and reverence deserved. 2 very capable pleasant to be with tour leaders. The sightseeing, walking, swimming, eating delicious healthy food, camping tour was just magic in every way in such rugged beautiful country. From the moment of booking to the drop off at my accommodation at the end of the tour, Adventure Wild Kimberley Tours was excellent. Twelve days of awe and wonder. Waterfalls and waterholes for swimming, night skies, sunrises and sunsets. Walks where the journey was as exceptional as the destination. Fabulous tour guides, Brett and Rowena, who took the greatest care of us. Highly recommended.
