We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.

There were so warm and friendly and shared so much local information of the places we visited. The tour exceeded our expectations. They were fun, super organised, caring, very capable, enthusiastic, nothing was too much for them. We had the most amazing healthy foods. met some lovely people from all over Australia. Having such nice relaxed company really added to this trip. The Kimberley is such a remarkable, memorable place to visit.

Having just returned from a 12 day Adventure Wild Kimberley Tour – I have to say WOW!
Touring the Kimberley has been at the top of my bucket list for a number of years. We were all set last year but with COVID we had to wait until 2021. Simone made this booking so easy. All questions and concerns were dealt with promptly and professionally.
We considered doing a self drive tour of the Gibb River Road. In hindsight taking the Adventure Wild tour was a sound decision. All mechanical concerns, flat tyres, river crossings, difficult roads were handled by our tour hosts, Thommo and Gools. We sat back, stress free and enjoyed the ride (which was very bumpy).
The itinerary was full and allowed for varying standards of fitness and mobility. Accommodation was well organised, dry, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, varied and wholesome.
Thommo and Gools were professional, knowledgeable, fun, enthusiastic and caring. They love this land and generously share their knowledge. The land ruled. My dream was surpassed. Vast sweeping scenery, rugged mountains, gorges, waterholes, ancient history and so much beauty.
To top it off, we now have 15 new friends. Fine people from all over Australia with a shared adventure. I can’t wait to catch up with each of them again

I’m just in from the Adventure Wild’s 12 day Kimberley Adventurer Tour with the very capable Thommo & Gools as our tour hosts & a full bus of 15 strangers (now friends) along the Gibb River Road & out to the Bungle Bungles. It’s was amazing to see just how good the Kimberleys actually are, our own world class playground.
Every day was an action packed adventure with so much to see and do from sun up to sun set… walking and swiming in the magnificent Kimberley gorges, a chopper ride in the Bungles; then back to the camp for a hearty meal & a few coldies (always cold) drinks around the campfire.
Our husband & wife hosts Thommo & Gools (11 years in the Kimberley) enthusiasm for the job was infectious & rubbed off so positively on us travellers. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys, their work effort was simply outstanding, their credo was “we live this life by choice and just want to share this adventure experience with you.”
Changing flat or blown tyres on the run, negotiating deeply corrugated roads, quickly repairing the odd broken tent or a sleeping bag malfunction, plus the odd guest injuries from trips and slips and other challenges are par for course on this trip … however all challenges were sorted professionally & quickly by Thommo & Gools & we were quickly back on schedule ….. these guys are, super organised, competent, capable & enthusiastic……I highly recommend this trip to all able bodied adventure seekers, I also recommend that you have an average level of fitness & movement to gain the very best from the experience.
My experience was 5 star ….. I highly recommend Adventure Wild and Thommo & Gools.
We had a wonderful trip with Mark and Carmel as our tour leaders. I feel so lucky to have been able to do the trip and to see such a magnificent part of our country. The Kimberley is amazing with the most spectacular sights. The walks into the gorges were beautiful especially when we were rewarded with stunning falls and/or wonderful swimming holes.
When asked what were the highlights, I reply everything. What made the trip even more enjoyable was having Mark and Carmel as our leaders. They obviously love the Kimberley and enjoy seeing others appreciate it also. This was reflected in the way everyone on our tour got on so well together and enjoyed not only the wonderful scenery but also the camping and camraderie that comes with everyone pitching in and helping out.
Living in these uncertain times, we did have a covid hiccup but Mark and Carmel handled everything calmly and rationally, ensuring that we had the minimum possible interruption to our trip.
I couldn’t recommend Adventure Wild highly enough. Such a memorable holiday.

We have just returned to Perth after the most amazing time in the Kimberley! We were impressed when we first dealt with Simone re booking this tour and then it just got better and better.
Gools and Thommo our tour guides were totally awesome. They put their heart and soul into making sure everyone had a good time. They were knowledgeable, fun, caring, organised, patient and very hard working. Gools was an amazing cook as well! They were like Duracell betteries… they just kept going and going!!
I am very glad we picked this company as I observed several other Kimberley tour companies camping near us on a few occasions and we definitely ad the A team! Just remember to get proper walking boots as they advise you to do!

What a marvelous adventure and how privileged l was to have shared the journey.
Wayne and Cheryl are remarkable people, they went above and beyond, l have traveled much and without a doubt, they have to be two of the best in terms of organisation, all round knowledge, support, friendliness and respect… l will miss them.
Adventure Wild is run with military precision, but at the same time, with warmth and consideration in regards to age and fitness.
Meals… l was hoping to move my Covid gained belly, no hope there with the sumptuous meals and thoughtful treats.
Wayne and Cheryl, aka Gools and Thommo… “I know, l know they are affectionate nicknames, but for me it seemed disrespectful.” Old school and all. I salute them and all involved in making Adventure Wild possible.

Had a fantastic 11 nights with Kylie and Dean. Delicious and healthy food every day and excellent hosts, who are fun, easy going and very organised. Handled any situation with ease and the trip was made more special by sharing it with a friendly group of people.

From the very first contact with Adventure Wild, I was totally impressed by the information provided and the positive communications from Simone and Karl. The customer service level is the best I’ve ever experienced
In regards to the adventure in the Kimberley’s, this was our first time camping. It was not an issue, loved every minute of it all. The wonderful sights around the Kimberley’s are a must see. Simone and Karl have done their homework to include so many extraordinary places to see and stay.
The guides Kylie and Dean were also extraordinary in their efforts to make our trip so memorable. They are a wonderful couple and fun to be around, we wish them all the very best for their future endeavours, and just as importantly a big huge thanks for a fantastic trip. Everything they did was to enhance our experience in the Kimberley’s, a massive effort to work so long and tirelessly. I’m sure it wouldn’t be easy dealing with total strangers with many different needs, but they handled it all magnificently. They are the best tour guides in the Kimberley’s who will only get better.
