We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.
Judy & Steve Lukacs
The tents, sleeping swags and locations to camp were great. I had the best night sleeps!
Jen, Joe & Jack Previtera
The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.
Jenny McKenzie-Murray
Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm.
Denis & Shirley Ranger
Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable.
Jos Benner
To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.
Rebecca Lingam
The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.
Meryl & Glenn Jackson
The camping experience was great fun and campfires at night added to the experience.
Steve & Connie Calderwood
BUNGLES
You may have thought the screech you heard was the crow just out of bed
Or maybe a road train passing some long long way ahead
But neither of these are right you know
For it was for the early rush for the starlight morning show
Well this early morning noise appeared to have a special mating call
As the screeching of the zips are heard and awaking nearly all
There are the ones that are short and sharp and others a piecing screech
One wonders if the noise is made so that others they will meet
For it was at the Bungles where the Loo’s they have no top
Tis a place where you can see the stars if you have time to stop
It can either be when you are showering or shampooing your sweaty hair
Or just relaxing on the seat that has been provided there
Well the day out from camp was another special trip
To locations such as The Domes walk, Picanniny Creek, Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm all set out on the list
The road it was corrugated and so really red and bumpy
But driving by Gools and Thommo was so great that nobody got grumpy
As we bumped along some gazed the view
Or pointed out plants or animals which they thought they really knew
Like the excited call from Bob who loudly yelled “There’s a Turkey Busted”
Which some thought a little different and sounded like “Thommo *!!**!!” instead
Well I am very thankful for the special iconic places that are there
As they will provide great memories for me to take and share
It’s now a great place to say that I have been
And I feel very privileged for what I’ve done and also what I have seen.
Thanks Adventure Wild – Great Trip arranged and undertaken by real professionals.

Just wanted to pass on our personal experience of our Trip with Greg & Choccy on 3rd June 2015.
What a wonderful & exciting time we had. Your tour was fantastic from start to finish. Even from when we first organised everything with you and from our first to last day of our tour, it went without a hitch.
Greg & Choccy ran like a well oiled machine & made sure we were safely looked after and fed up to the eyeballs. Apart from that, they were so much fun. They were so knowledgeable & I loved their passion for the region & the wildlife. They are truly, an asset to your company.
It is a holiday my husband & I will never forget.

I would like to thank you all for making my 12 days, with you “absolutely fantastic”. I had an incredible time, and everybody, played a part in contributing, to making this one of the best holidays that I have ever had.
To Mark and Carmel, “the glue holding us all together”, a special thank you. Your love and passion for the job, made my holiday.
To my fellow campers, thank you, thank you, thank you, for being who you are. Great to be with.

I just wanted to say thanks for putting us on Gools & Thommo’s tour, they are a first class team. From excellent driving, great communication in their planning & setting expectations, incredible timing, knowledge on local flora & fauna, gourmet dinners, and anticipation of the needs people have on a camping trip, they had everything covered for a comfortable & informative trip.
But more importantly than that, G&T shared a bit of themselves and their passion for the Kimberley, for facilitating people & sharing stories, turning a great itinerary into a memorable holiday.
May I also say, I have seen companies which leave one solo tour guide to work themselves to exhaustion to manage a trip by themselves, it is wonderful to see your company looking after both their staff as well as customers the way you do.
I hope to travel with Adventure Wild (and specifically G&T) again soon, and will certainly recommend you to my family & friends.

Well where do I begin with talking about my Broome to Broome trip!
Tour guides Gooles & Thommo were fantastic, food wonderful & varied, knowledge of area excellent!
Brilliant driving along those roads, accomodation great – the last nights camp was “breath taking” a lovely lagoon and views and no one else around, needs a pontoon as mud to get in is really squelchy ( I had to pick on something).
I will certainly promote your wonderful trip as its etched in my mind.
When I first talked to Gooles & Thommo last year at Traralgon caravan show my mind was virtually made up as everything was done so quickly and professionally, Thommo said I would have an email that night and I did and from there on you were so in touch it was really good.
Cheers to you all & Heartfelt thanks for our wonderfull guides who looked after all of us & great memories.

I loved my holiday! Absolutely.
The Kimberly landscape itself must be the star. It was a feast for the senses every day in every way. It was beautiful from the nearest swathe of green, golden grasses to the vast and ancient vistas. I loved the colours. We swam nearly every day in warm, clear waterholes and dried ourselves on sun warmed rocks.
Evenings were spent eating fresh and delicious meals cooked by Carmel and Mark and then sitting around the fire sipping (slurping) beverages(wine) contemplating the day that had just passed.
The highlights for me were (and it’s a personal thing):
Sleeping in a swag under the stars and moon each night. Tents are provided if alfresco sleeping isn’t your thing.
Swimming in that beautiful, soft, fresh water.
The light: it was sunny and clear and warm every day and the light just enhanced the beauty of everything, especially mid-morning and mid-arvo.
Our guides, Carmel and Mark. Those two are a wonderful couple. I think they were born for this job and they gave so much and we all appreciated it all. I have never laughed so hard at a badly told joke, Mark. Thank you both so much.
My score – 9.75/ 10. A quarter of a point is taken off for music selection. If I never have to listen to John Farnham or John Williamson again I will be a happy woman.

It wasn’t until we arrived home and I summarised for a friend what we got up to on the trip that the experiences of the whole journey really sunk in. When you’re on the go you don’t often have time to reflect. This is essentially what I told her:
“Where else do you get the chance to drive around the outback in a 4 wheel drive bus pulling a trailer containing all of your food and drink supplies; kitchen equipment, tables; chairs and even a chainsaw for cutting wood. We saw many gorges; did a fair bit of walking; sat around the campfire at night having all sorts of discussions; met people from all walks of life; avoided the cows in the campground (on the way to the toilet in the middle of the night); had a formal night – ladies take your tiaras; looked at a $300000 pink diamond ring and other expensive jewellery; drank rum at a Hoochery (distillery); saw millions of stars; checked out the native flora and fauna; were evacuated from a campground because of a fire; flew over Mitchell Falls in a plane; flew over the Bungle Bungles in a helicopter; cruised a couple of gorges; camped on a cattle station; crossed many rivers and creeks; swam in rivers, creeks, gorges, hot springs and under waterfalls; slept in a swag in tents; watched many sunrises and sunsets; and had a great time. That’s the Adventure Wild experience all in 12 days. Thanks Adey and Kappo for a wonderful holiday”.

Having just returned from the Adventure Wild 12 day tour from Broome to Broome along the Gibb River Rd, I can thoroughly recommend Adventure Wild tours. We travelled with a varied and diverse group of people, who by the end the trip, were all bonded by our fantastic experience.
The landscape and the sights we saw , the gorges and waterfalls , the mountain ranges, the sunsets and sunrises, the ancient rock formations, were all stunning. There were plenty of walks and many many swims in beautiful billabongs, rivers and under waterfalls, and also a good bit of rock hopping. Some of the rock art we were taken to was the best I have seen. Our campsites were always perfect, our tents were great and our swags were very comfortable…. perfect for sleeping out under the stars.
Our hosts Mark and Carmel were totally fantastic. Warm and down to earth people (and also very very funny) they made sure that each of us was comfortable. Any request or question was never too much trouble. Our meals were always delicious and nutritious and cooked with no fuss and much laughter. Mark was happy to stop the truck wherever anyone wanted to have a closer look, or for a photo opportunity. We all very much enjoyed their company and the adventures they took us on. I would never have guessed that this was their first tour. They were perfect.
A fantastic trip that I will speak highly of to friends and relatives.

Posted on Facebook – A big thank you to Adey and Rory for looking after Santo and I so well on a recent trip which was very well organised and professional. The meals were delicious with plenty for all. Some of the highlights for me were the Cathedral Gorge, the helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungles, the beautiful night sky and the night of the impromptu orchestra session! Keep up the good work!
