We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

Jen, Joe & Jack Previtera
The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.

Our tented accommodation left nothing wanting and our bags, swags, sleeping bags and water bottles kept us comfortable and warm.
Denis & Shirley Ranger
Great trip. The fixed tents, swags and sleeping bags were clean, warm and comfortable.
Jos Benner
To be honest I was a bit concerned how I would go not being a camper or very fit. But once I started I was happily surprised that I was able to do all the walks and not miss out on seeing anything.
Rebecca Lingam
The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.
Meryl & Glenn Jackson
The camping experience was great fun and campfires at night added to the experience.
Steve & Connie Calderwood
Wow! My daughter and I have just returned from this super wonderful tour with Adventure Wild. I feel words cannot express the enjoyment of this tour. Our driver, Phil and our hostess, Liz were outstanding. They never failed to smile and always made me feel as though I was a VIP. The bus was comfortable, cool, roomy and loaded with snacks. Fresh fruit, yummy, cheese snack and bars were all available throughout the tour. Fresh cool water was also plentiful at all times. Sunscreen, wipes, insect repellent were other items on hand for all.
This tour was a life time dream of mine and every day my bucket list was fulfilled. The amazing scenery, the red dust, the Gibb River Road, my travelling companions and the history of our great Kimberley will always be with me.
Adventure Wild throughout were professional, helpful and obliging. My first contact was by email and within a few minutes I received a call from Karl and Simone with all the information I required.
Congratulations to Adventure Wild and staff from a very very happy older Aussie. Never fear I will be back!!
Adventure Wild are as efficient and as competitive as you would expect and the Kimberly tour presents special scenery for all to see. What sets the tour they provide apart from the competition is in no small way… the guide couples they employ.
Spirituality means relationships…with yourself, your family/ partner, your people and your country, for some, your God. Through life spiritual experiences become more important.
Our guides, Liz and Phil exhibit a spiritual aura produced by the way they relate to each other, their country and its people. This aura spreads to their guests to bath them in an experience way beyond the physical scenery that beckons them. The ease at which they lead the trip transforms the Kimberly tour into a spiritual journey for all and sets alight a desire to not just become another human treading footprints in the sand, but an empowered ambassador who preaches and defends this beautiful country for past, present and future owners.
Congratulations Liz and Phil, you are worthy representatives of the memories you help to create and for Adventure Wild.
Wonderful Phil and Liz, even though they had some mishaps they never missed a beat with unfailing good humour and service.
I’ve definitely put on weight with all the yummy food!!
Every thing about the journey and beautiful itinerary was spot on Great Glamping Great group Great company 10 out of 10 👋👋👋
Hello Simone
We arrived home in Bundaberg on Friday 13th and would like to give you our thoughts on our trip with your Company.
On behalf of Cheryl and myself we would like to express our appreciation of the service and friendship that Mark and Carmel showed us on our tour. Their obvious delight in showing off the area that they are very passionate about comes across and made our experience so much better. The Kimberleys is a very beautiful area and Mark and Carmel go out of their way to show off each and every area from gorges and waterfalls, the places (towns) and their attractions, ranges, wildlife etc. Their organisation with setting up each night to packing up each morning was well planned and easy on everyone. Everything was carried our easily, from wood collecting to loading up each morning. The meals prepared were fantastic – thank you Mark and Carmel.
We would highly recommend this tour. Also thank you Simone for your help and your speedy response when we needed answers.
Kind regards
WOW…..Oh My Goodness…..WOW! 🚍⛺🐂🐃🦎🚁🐊
I have just returned from the 12 day Broome to Broome Safari Tour 17 departed 27 June 2018, via The Gibb River Road with wonderful tour guides Mark and Carmel. I am exhilarated, exhausted and extremely content.
Pre-tour communication by telephone and email with Karl and Simone was most re-assuring. The speed of return emails in answer to my questions was a hallmark of the friendliness and efficiency that continued throughout the entire tour.
The Argyle Diamond Mine is running out of Kimberley diamonds but two will remain forever ♦️Carmel and Mark♦️ our amazing Tour Guides. They are fabulous representatives of Adventure Wild; extremely knowledgeable regarding plants, birdlife, all Kimberley wildlife, the history of the stoic pioneers, the history of the wondrous rock formations and mountain ranges and the history and status of the huge stations. I cannot speak highly enough of their dedication to ensure all on tour have an awesome and informed adventure.
Carmel and Mark do all the meal preparation and produce fabulous, substantial, deliciously healthy meals three times a day; as well as morning, afternoon teas and pre-dinner quality nibbles. Mark’s damper is just soooo good. Yums! And…..who would expect chocolate self-saucing pudding cooked on the coals of the campfire served with icecream and cream. Delish.😀
Safety, hygiene and comfort for all on tour was caringly monitored by Carmel and Mark. The campsites were always clean, well maintained and located in picturesque surrounds. Being in the outback is the best! The tents are clean and spacious and even the swags are cosy. (Thanks Mark and Carmel for your expert help with my swag xx). The sleeping bags give the 5 Star touch with their delightful silky linings.
Sitting around the campfire each night after dinner was wonderful – the camaraderie, sharing of banter, getting to know each other a little more, forming friendships and the ritual of “Yesterday, Today, Tonight, Tomorrow” was great fun.🤣. Gosh, I had such a good time.
The gorges, vastness, beauty and serenity of our amazing Kimberley has to be seen firsthand to truly appreciate how unique and special that land is. Cathedral Gorge !!! Words and photographs cannot replace being present in this amazing natural wonder.
A very special and genuine thank you to Mark and Carmel for your unrelenting help, guidance and assistance to me during the more challenging walks and climbs.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Indeed, it was a wonderful tour. Such a happy cohesive bunch of fellow tourists.
Warmest best wishes and thank you one and all.
Hi. Thanks Simone.
The water canteen is very lovely and many people have commented on it. I hope my friends will also love the canteens
I really enjoyed my camping trip and both Gools and Thommo made it enjoyable and safe for me. The fellow travellers are also very inclusive of me, they were very considerate of my age and my poor knee.
The food that Gools and Thommo provided was varied, exotic and tasty. They took us on a culinary tour of the world in a little kitchen!!! Both Gool and Thommo should give lectures on Time management!!
I have told Thommo to write books on the his experiences I really enjoyed his stories. He is very articulate and the way he presents his stories and information kept one interested.
Your organisation is good and I have told sone of my friends of your tour. THANKS ONCE AGAIN.
Regards,
Thanks for a Great Adventure – Broome – Gibb River Road to Kununurra then return along the Great Northern Highway – Broome.
Great guides – Gools and Thommo, great food, permanent camp sites a great advantage, visited all the BEAUTIFUL gorges, falls, rivers, creeks, chasms that the Kimberley has to offer.
Everything was well organised, transport well maintained, excursions well planned, all ages and levels of fitness accommodated.
All we had to do was turn up with our hiking, swimming and campfire gear, relax and enjoy the journey.
Dear Simone & Karl
When Sarah & Kay suggested we do a “camping “ tour through The Kimberly I approached with much trepidation as I am not a particularly outdoors person.
After experiencing this great adventure I would now do it in a heartbeat!
The accommodation was great & I even had a tight swag in the end.
Congratulations, you must be very proud of Adventure Wild.
My Kimberly experience has left quite an imprint with me.
What gems you have in Phil & Liz.
They were very kind, outgoing & nothing was too much trouble.
I soaked up their wealth of information & stories they have on the Kimberley.
And they are great cooks.
I found the different landscapes spectacular.
The whole experience was amazing & I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour to friends & family..
Kind Regards
Hi Simone
We have just completed our first tour of the Kimberley ever, with Mark and Carmel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, quickly adapting to early mornings and appreciating that we consequently avoided the heat of the afternoon with most of our walks.
Loved the fact that we had regular stops along the way in the bus and that many of our walks included a swim in a refreshing waterhole.
Food was always available! Meals were efficiently presented to us, beautifully prepared, healthy and tasty. Very much home style cooking, which was perfect for a camping experience.
Steve was well catered for with his gluten-free requirement and guests were well informed of his needs so that contamination did not occur with serving and handling of food.
Mark and Carmel were excellent tour guides; Highly attentive to everyone’s needs, plenty of facts and anecdotes regarding places we visited as well as flora and fauna we saw. Great stories, jokes and general banta.
We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site, loved the campfires every night and the involvement in collecting wood along the way. Facilities along the way varied in quality but were adequate as far as we were concerned.
We were all shown the procedure for washing up dishes, washing hands before meals, cleaning out tents before we left.
Overall we couldn’t really make any suggestions to improving the trip. As with any organised tours, there is always compromise between people as to how long we stay at a place. There were many places Steve and I would have happily spent longer at, but we were never rushed out of a place. Mark and Carmel just very gently and apologetically let us know when our time was up.
We will highly recommend this tour to any of our friends who are interested in travelling the Kimberley.
Thank you!
Hi Simone
Eric and myself would like to thank you, Carmel and Mark for our recent tour with Adventure Wild. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and found Carmel and Mark to be excellent guides who were always helpful, cheerful, fun, very organised with nothing being too much trouble. The whole group were very united in our praise for their effort and feel you are very lucky to have them in your team.
We were very happy with the itinerary and enjoyed all the walks to the magnificent waterfalls and holes as well as the optional tours we undertook. The food was great and very plentiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the laughter filled evenings around the campfire. We would not change anything about the trip and thought it was extremely organised down to the campsites, swags and the kitchen setup.
We would also like to thank Carmel and Mark again for making it a wonderful experience exploring the magnificent Kimberley region, and will definitely recommend your trip and our fantastic guides to our friends and family.
Regards
