We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

The camping experience was great. Having the tents already set up makes life very easy and the swags with sheets make for a fairly comfortable night. We enjoyed sitting round the campfire and chatting and playing games many evenings.

Just to let you know we had a great adventure in the Kimberley. It was above our expectations with the amazing places we visited. The scenery was breathtaking and so was the hiking in and out of the gorges.
The optional tours were all amazing and were well worth the money. Andrew and Sonya are an asset to the company, very knowledgeable in every aspect. Amazing cooks and easy to talk to. Very hard workers and would go out of there way to help you.

Just wanted to thank you for the most awe inspiring trip we took with Gools and Thommo through the Kimberley. Those two worked like Trojans to ensure that everyone had a great time and their knowledge, story telling and good humour was much appreciated. Everything was planned perfectly and they made allowances for everyone’s interests and ability levels. The food was amazing and varied and, although we hadn’t camped for years, the swags and tents kept us snug and comfortable.
The places we visited were beautiful and the hikes quite manageable although I can highly recommend trekking poles for older travellers! We had an awesome trip and it is a great way to see this beautiful country up close.

We had a great trip, the Kimberly is beautiful. Sonya and Andrew did a terrific job. Our camping sites were generally good but two nights without showers is one to many (at Purnululu National Park), on an otherwise great trip.

I think we have just one of the best organized trips we have ever experienced. Scenery aside, which is world class, the experiences we had were so varied and interesting. The food was excellent and plentiful.
The spirit of comradely which developed in the group was brilliant. This is due to the group to some extent, but also developed by the leaders.
Karl stepped in at short notice and Lana even later which was greatly appreciated.

I would like to thank Adventure Wild for a fabulous 12 day Kimberley tour. We went to some amazing places such as Bell, Manning, Galvin and Emma Gorges. We also visited the spectacular Mitchell Falls and Zebedee Springs. We crossed the Pentecost River and viewed it at sunset from Pigeon Hole lookout, another great day and night. My favourite was the Bungle Bungle guided tour to the Cathedral with the helicopter flight over the range. I also loved the sunset cruise from Lake Argyle, the boat we went on was state of the art, walk on/walk off, huge motors on a monohull. We hooted along with no bump, bump.
Our guides, Gools and Thommo, were exceptional. They were professional but fun. Gools is an amazing cook, providing alternatives for people like me with gluten intolerances. Thommo is an informative but funny story teller, he had us constantly laughing. Above all their duty of care to each and every person was reassuring. They were excellent drivers and didn’t take unnecessary risks.
Our tents were set up and the swags were warm, clean and comfortable. At night we sat around the fire, with a few drinks and all the people on the tour engaged with each other, discussing our life stories and the meaning of life.
I had a wonderful time on the tour (24 May – 5 June) and would highly recommend Adventure Wild and our tour guides Gools and Thommo.
