We were surprised at how comfortable the swags were, appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to unpack and put up tents at each site.

Just want to say a big thank you for you and the team. Rosemarie and I participated in the 12 day tour on 19 August 2016. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It exceeded all our expectation. From the very beginning when we met Thommo and Gools in Canberra we were convinced that this would be the holiday we want. After not too long, the decision was made to book the 12 day trip.
Having done the tour now, all we can say that it was a great experience and we are so glad that we have done it. Our tour guides, Liz and Phil, were outstanding. Always in a good mood and helpful. The food was great, thanks to Liz. We even liked the early rises and going to sleep just after the sun set. All in all, it was a most enjoyable tour. Not forgetting, the Kimberley stunning scenery.

For quite a while I have meant to write to let you know how much I appreciated this trip. (I have passed on my experiences to friends and several intend also doing this trip)
The itinerary was well planned; food was excellent but most of all it was Corf and Adey who brought their skills of storytelling; organisation; and their ability to get a disparate group working together quickly that really enabled all of us to get so much from this trip.
Their guiding was brilliant, it enabled me to have a complete experience with no regrets later of what “I should have done”

My wife and I had the happy experience of touring the Kimberly’s with Adventure Wild this August/September over a twelve day period. The North West of Australia had always been a destination that we had both wanted to explore for a long time and the only disappointment we had, was that the experience had to come to an end. The diversity of the region was astounding and came to life with background information provided by our knowledgeable tour guides, Mark and Carmel. It can’t be understated how much more alive the whole experience was due to the familiarity our guides were able to provide as to the history of the areas we visited. The Bungle-Bungle’s (what sort of name is that?), Zebedee Springs, El Questro are some of the finest memories we will have during this life-time and rather than satisfy our curiosity about this part of the world, it has stoked it and I’m sure we will be returning again to see more in the future. Our group was fantastic and the feeling of sharing these experiences together, reverent. We would like to express our thanks to all those at Adventure Wild, but in particular Mark and Carmel who showed us just a tiny fraction of the lucky country and reaffirmed our belief that we live in the greatest nation on Earth. Australia. Get into it!

Hi Simone,
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour. Having grown up a country girl I just loved the scenery and landscapes which were spectacular in the Kimberley – I am still raving about it to anyone who dares to listen!!! Our guides Carmel and Mark, were fantastic and happy to share their knowledge and accommodate everyone’s needs during the trip. Having camped before privately, I was very comfortable in our swags and although the tents were clean and spacious, I chose to sleep under the stars each night bar the 2 colder nights when I retreated to the tent!!!
I loved exploring the gorges with our friendly caring group of adventurers and took advantage of the opportunity to fly up to the coast and Kalumburu, cruise the Ord River and fly by helicopter over the Bungle Bungles. I would thoroughly recommend all three to future adventurers. Thank you so much – every detail of the trip was taken care of and the choice of sites to visit and camp were wonderful. I have willingly recommended Adventure Wild to friends and family since returning.

Now that I am back at work I have reflected on the most enjoyable 12 days I spent with Adventure Wild and wishing I could do it all again. We were truly lucky to have the best weather, the best group of people to tour with, stunning scenery and two of the best tour guides and genuine good people we could have asked for. Gools and Thommo thank you for your patience, your stories, your great driving on some incredible roads and for guiding us to the surprises to be found in the Kimberley. Incredible food cooked with love by Gools with some help from Thommo on the wok, was eagerly consumed. Thommo thank you for giving us one last reminder of the “Gibb River Road Massage” as we drove into Broome.

We have been fortunate enough to have experienced most of the iconic places in our country.
However, Adventure Wild took us on a tour of The Kimberley which eclipses all else.
Truely magnificent.
You must go there.

This dream began in Brisbane in 2014 at the Bucket list expo where we met Thommo & Gools who were promoting the Adventure Wild Kimberley tours. Their passion and love of what they do was inspiring and we signed up. Getting information and silly questions answered was done so well by Simone in the office. You must be a very patient and methodical person. The actual tour far exceeded any expectations I had.
Once inducted into the ‘systems’ for the smooth running of our tour we settled back and had the most amazing time. The landscapes are wonderful but that was enhanced by the information we received from Thommo and Gools about everywhere we went in our Bruck (we were not to call it a bus!). Our group was a bunch of lovely, interesting and generous people. I have no hesitation to recommend Adventure Wild and Thommo and Gools to anyone who will listen to me. This was the highlight of my holidays, though I really like bitumen to drive on.
Thank you Thommo, Gools and Simone for looking after us so well, feeding us the most beautiful meals and showcasing what the Kimberley has to offer. This one is going to be hard to top.

We loved our holiday. Mike keeps saying that it was the BEST holiday we have ever had. We have made new friends and have amazing memories to keep forever.
The Kimberley is awesome and it was so interesting to learn about the geology of this ancient area.

Trying to find enough good words to say how fabulous this trip was is almost impossible. Highly professional and seamless, your staff are incredible from point of initial contact and booking, through to delivery of everything promised and so much more. Attention to detail, personable engagement and making your customers experience “one of the highlights of their lifetime” are just some of your points of excellence.
To Phil and Liz, a heartfelt thank you! You are amazing guides who deliver in spades and go above and beyond every day to ensure your clients comfort, happiness and enjoyment. You are exemplary ambassadors for your company and made my trip the wonder that it was.

What a trip!!! We haven’t stopped talking about the awesome 12 days we had with Adventure Wild with Carmel and Mark. From the minute we stepped on board we felt so welcome and the feeling only got better. In no time at all we knew the rest of the group and it soon became one big happy family. We had never camped before and it didn’t take long to learn the routine and how much fun sleeping in tents on swags could be.
The meals which Carmel and Mark produced daily were exceptional as were the cheese, crackers and nibbles which we washed down with a beer or glass of wine after an exhausting day of exploring caves, gorges, waterfalls, pools and scenery which was breathtakingly beautiful.
Carmel and Mark’s planning, organizing and sharing of so much history and information on wildlife, plants and places we had been or were about to visit was outstanding.
We would not hesitate to recommend Adventure Wild and this trip to anyone considering it.
